I wonder how Green plays into this recruitment. Same HS however I’m not sure of how he would sell his experience at IU thus far. The perceived attitude problems early last season seem to have been put aside and he really showed improvement toward the end of the season. Would he sell his personal development as a player to CAM and talk it up to Curbelo? If he does then I could see us in a stronger position than I have recently thought. It’s not like we’re up against the Big Boy$ in this recruitment. We should be able compete with all of them on a level playing field with the possible exception of the Duck$. So if we face OSU three times this year and win one, is CAM still a dismal failure and a terrible hire comparatively because he is still sub-.500 against Holtmann? At what point does the scale tip in favor of CAM? Can it ever tip in his favor in some posters’ minds because they are just dead set convinced he’s a hoops doofus and can never overcome that stigma? I normally don’t get too invested in these arguments but the negativity is getting to me tonight....and I can’t drink.....because I’m working.....adulting sucks. Probably used the wrong phrase there. I would love to get Garcia but I’m concerned with some of the perceived interest from the big $chool$. I haven’t heard squat about Diarra or some of the other PGs lately. Really hoping we’re still in the mix with some of them. I need to look into Loveday a little more. For some reason that idea seems kinda meh to me, but that is coming from an uninformed standpoint and also by comparing him to Garcia. I don’t see us going with both, nor would I want us to.
