It’s early but this is kind of hard to watch. Zero energy out there. Not what you want to start the season. Absolutely hate our body language. Hopefully one of our freshmen can step up and be a true vocal leader and get this team the spark and energy they need.

Gotta stop running every first down. Puts us behind the chains every time. Run play action and take some shots every once in a while. Almost playing too conservative.

Rain is gonna cause issues on both sides. We don’t run the ball well and OSU doesn’t either but our run D has been stout this year. Expecting a low scoring first half. Gonna need a MONSTER game from David Ellis IMO and run some Rondale Moore type plays all game for him.

Wooowwww. Purdue just got royally screwed and Brohm was literally seconds away from strangling an official. What an insane game. All while Purdue fans virtually chant “IU Sucks.” Love it!

#9 Indiana visits #3 Ohio State as 21 POINT UNDERDOGS?!?! The disrespect. This should bring even more fuel to our Hoosiers for this coming weekend!

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!! We have 2 turnovers and are up 24-0 on the road in the first half and we’re not completely satisfied. What is this feeling???

Stay focused and take care of business against MSU and then we have a legit chance to be #1 in the country with a win at OSU. IMO that game is winnable. Hopefully that will be the College Game Day game to get our Hoosiers some more exposure...these guys deserve ALL of the attention for believing and staying true to what is being built at Indiana. We have yet to see our secret weapon David Ellis this year. Think he could be a major contributor in our offense this year. Keep it rolling boys!!! LEO!!!

Purdue will face Illinois without their starting QB and former Indiana Mr. Football Brandon Peters. Not that it would’ve made that much difference. Purdue will face Wisconsin next week (if they play) without their Heisman hopeful QB as well. Is anybody else thinking that Purdue will make the B1G title game this yea? Schedule/B1G West was already a joke and now catching some even bigger breaks.

Anyone else hearing the rumors of Journey Brown being out Saturday, and possibly for the season with a heart condition? He is a projected first rounder and would be a big blow for Penn State. There has been no confirmation but there has been no mention of him in the Penn State media or by the coaches and was not named a captain, which is odd considering he’s the best player on the team. Video surfaced of him at practice last week without pads on and not participating.

I’m more optimistic than most years, and I actually feel good about that optimism unlike every other “optimistic” IU football year. I see us going at least 4-4 with a decent chance of 5-3. I truly believe we will beat one of Michigan/Penn State and could realistically beat both, but it’s IU football so who really knows.

This B1G schedule really highlights the need for a realignment of divisions. The B1G West is a complete joke. Compare IU’s schedule to Purdue’s schedule and it’s glaring.

Schedule will be released at 10 am this morning on the FOX. Has anyone else heard that IU-Purdue will be week 1???
