Does anyone realistically think this team makes the tournament at this point??? Hope I’m wrong but I’ve seen this movie far too often.

Mr. Sesame Street (Lunardi) updated his bracket this morning and no change for IU as they stay at 7th which is surprising to me. I see IU as a low 8/high 9 right now. What does everyone think IU’s magic number is to go dancing? I think 20 wins gets us there no matter what. Thoughts???

Another year and looking like another missed tournament. When will things change. So over this program. I hope like hell this team proves me wrong but I’ve watched enough basketball (especially IU basketball) over my lifetime to realize this team is a fringe tourney team at best.

No joke. It’s not like St. John’s is some sort of slouch. I honestly believe St. John’s will win the Big East and finish in the top 15. That team has some dudes and a legit First Team All-American on its hands.

This Duke-Kentucky game is F-U-N FUN! So happy to have college basketball truly back!

Banchero is special. Reminds me of a capable shooting Ben Simmons. Hate to say it but Kentucky has the chance to be really good. Wheeler is a REALLY GOOD point guard and Grady is a crazy good shooter and Oscar does nothing but hustle. This might be their best team since the AD days.

Well there has to be a reason…players don’t just continually regress with their shooting. It’s one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever seen. Year over year, shooting gets worse and right now there remains only one constant over the past 4 years.

I will die on this hill…Clif Marshall needs to go! He’s the common denominator and our shooting will never be there as long as he’s training these guys like they’re in the NFL.

21-10 with 12-8 in the B1G. Get 8 seed in the tourney and knock off #1 Kentucky on their way to a Sweet 16 appearance!

Kentucky struggles with Niles, Ole Miss struggles with Trevecca Nazarene, and Auburn struggles with Southern Indiana. The $EC once again looks to be a joke this year.

Hearing Kopp didn’t play as well. If we were missing 2 starters in Kopp and Bates, I’m even more encouraged by this.

You’ve gotta think this means we’re making a final push or are trying to convince him to change his mind. One would think his mind is already made up with his commitment just over a week away.

Everything says we should get absolutely rolled in this game……but I’m not falling for it. I think this game is MUCH closer than everyone thinks and it’ll again come down to turnovers. If we can play a clean game and win the turnover battle, then I see IU coming away with a massive upset. We’re -2 in the turnover battle this year and it’s time for the water to find it’s level. IU forces 3 turnovers AND gets a pick 6 of their own finally and comes away smiling from Happy Valley: IU - 24 PSU - 21

I think the key to victory is simple: don’t shoot yourself in the foot! If we limit mistakes I think we win. It’s crazy to say but I truly believe we are the better/more talented team but we are also our own worst enemy. Time to shut up the naysayers who say last year was a fluke and prove we belong at the top of the B1G!

With a floor of Nick Zeisloft, how you could you only be kinda happy?! That’s the type of player that Archie failed to consider over the past 4 years that could’ve done wonders for IU.

Can’t wait to see how Goodman twists this pickup as a “swing and a miss” in the transfer portal for IU
