  1. Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullins and Isiah Thomas. There's a difference between will of an athlete and ability of coach/front office.
  2. Pacers-Buckner-Simons/Cooks.
  3. Sample size is small and I'll agree with you on that point. However, it's what have to go off of right now and early indications are that when you start getting up to the 5/6 transfer range it generally doesn't go well. Now, can you get 3 or 4 So. and Jr's to then build your core? Yes I suppose you can but they still have to fit to what you want your system to be and the only players that benefit in his system are post players. Have to adapt or all of this is for naught. We have a large enough sample size to indicate that he's not going to do that. In fact he just doubled down on his outdated philosophy a few days ago.
  4. My problems with this approach are: A) it has proven to fail way more than proven to succeed B) it's not sustainable. Let's say you defy the odds one year and are successful. Your odds drop exponentially to do this year in and year out. College roster needs to have a core of players in which to add pieces to imo.
  5. The foundation of the program is eroding quickly and you don't repair it by just hoping it fixes itself. Keeping Woodson is not only hoping it fixes itself but letting the guy that cracked it to begin with be the one to over see it. If you think that Woodson staying another year is in anyway beneficial to the long term health of the program you are (stealing a quote from Scott Coffield) "either lying or stupid".
  6. https://open.spotify.com/episode/1h6C7TOiucJUmQhskWJona?si=V14b37PSQtqMrr5zKPpMcQ For those that want to blame the fans. Galen gives you some truth serum.
  7. You are in denial and that's OK. Truth is he's coming back unless someone gets through to him that it's in his best interest not to. That's the gist of it I'm afraid. Even if he does leave our admin will probably hire the 1984 US Women's Gymnastics coach.
  8. I mean he couldn't even get TJD's name right for about the first 2 weeks of taking the job.
  9. Who is responsible for the quote? That's funny that it is universally accepted that Einstein said it
  10. So that person just straight took info from here and put it all together into one tweet. Who did it guys?
  11. I don't know how to break it to ya but...
  12. To not take questions would be ok if.... 1) He came right out and addressed it/took responsibility for the failure 2) Hasn't had a history of acting like he is above speaking to his criticism
  13. That'll help getting the media and fans back on your side Mike. Throw away all of your recruiting re$ource$ for 2024, have zero players for '24 and '25 and then refuse to speak to everyone's concern. I'm teetering on not liking the person Mike as much as I don't like the coach.
  14. That's funny but who in the hell is spending $18 on a Fruit of the Loom undershirt with some crappy screen press?
  15. Well...without knowing the hires but based off of last 20+ years of athletic decisions? Louisville. Michigan is a close 2nd but doesn't care about basketball like Louisville does. IU is a far, far, far distant 3rd if even that.
  16. Then Mike and Bob say f@$% you to people blaming the fans. New respect for AC tonight.
  17. Wow! Tonsoni also took very obvious shot at BoT and specifically Buckner. They aren't holding back. Good on them.
  18. Not Tonsoni is only AC guy on. I like all of them for one reason or another. To be fair all of them wanted to move on. And even doubled down on that.
  19. He said he was over it when Woody got hired.
  20. Watching AC. Tonsoni is hosting with X's and Joe's and he is visibly livid right now. He's drinking Gumball Head (solid choice) and Jack Daniel's lol. Tonsoni is so freaking over it all and I love it.
  21. The entire staff should be fired.
  22. Dusty will be busy building his new power 5 school that didn't waste time on a lame duck 85 going on 66 year old coach that can't be bothered to do his job. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  23. So save $ and fly him in from wherever after every game and do that. The short-sighted approach this administration is taking makes me sad. IU has fallen so far in the CBB hierarchy and is committed to continuing the downward trajectory. I will spend nothing on merch, tix or anything else that can help them suffocate the program I've loved. As for watching....if I have nothing better to do I may watch a game. I mean doing dishes, cleaning gutters and punching myself in the throat will all qualify as something better to do. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  24. Dude screw em'. Keep doing what you do. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
