Not sure why we're discussing uniforms, but since we've dipped into that debate, here's my vote for what we wear at home: Silk red short-shorts with belts, white jerseys and wool socks. Don Schludnt and Slick Leonard wore it well! (P.S. I got no dog in the fight about unis. I don't care what we wear. I only have one simple request when it comes to that: If we ever go to a third/alternate uni, please, please, please don't make it black. That's what our little brothers up north wear; that's not our color).

CTA's name has been thrown around in the FSU coaching search, which I don't find to be a very realistic possibility. But I am a little surprised that his name hasn't come up in the Ole Miss search (at least from what I've seen). When Wilson resigned/was fired, wasn't one of the top reasons we turned the program over to Allen so quickly was that we feared the Rebels were trying to steal him to be their DC? He did spend 2-3 years there as a defensive assistant.

Damn! According to Archie, Rob was back at practice yesterday, was looking good, then turned his ankle. ... He was likely to return this weekend, but that'll be pushed back. Poor kid can't catch a break.

Archie said he told Justin that regardless of his numbers, he thought he had the best game of his career tonight -- in terms of being a calming influence and his leadership. I hope he has indeed turned the corner and grown up some from last season. He seems like a really bright kid -- we need that.
