Mike Woodson and His Coaching Staff

Maybe we’re saving the big payday for Lewis? He is the assistant coming off a Final Four run.

I feel you. That said, most everyone I know has been fairly quiet as Louisville and Kentucky are dealing with their own issues.

Hey. I’m just saying at some point you might have to steer into the skid. Dare to be (totally) different. Make your own headlines. And any other cliched phrase you can dream up.

I don’t think it’s Mack but it’s not like Louisville and Bloomington are that far apart. I wouldn’t live in Louisville and work in Bloomington, but traveling back and forth often wouldn’t be an issue.

    Ooooook who’s your # 2?

We’ve made it pretty clear what the expectations are for IUBB. If she’s not out performing two previously fired coaches, then yes you can fire her. It’s about providing opportunities to quality candidates, the expectations remain the same and I’m sure she would agree.

    Ooooook who’s your # 2?

Well, that’s a well thought out rebuttal.

    Ooooook who’s your # 2?

It’s true, but where is she going to get those opportunities? Not a lot of opportunities for women coaches in male sports yet. She did coach an NBA team to a summer league title. Not a long record but it’s something. Would you be open to proven WCBB coach?

    Ooooook who’s your # 2?

If Dolson wants an NBA style, I say we make an offer to Becky Hammon. That’s a story I’d be proud of and I think she’d do exceptionally well. Unfortunately, I have no idea how recruits and parent would react. Toxic masculinity is still very much an issue in sports.

    Never can figure Knight out

http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/indiana/2017/03/30/bob-knight-praises-new-iu-coach-archie-miller/99856490/ This is about as high a praise as you could ever expect from Knight. Says a lot about the perception of Archie's skill/program management. This should make a few of the Alford fans feel better.

    Welcome Coach Miller

Louisville is actually pretty awesome from a food/beverage/entertainment perspective but Louisville fans are starting to rub me the wrong way. I've given them a pass because we share a mutual hate for Kentucky but at least UK fans understand basketball. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Really? I hate the Yum Center. It's like a crappy NBA arena. It ridiculously difficult to get in and out of (both the building and aisles) and it has no atmosphere. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Hmmm...Is a million dollars worth being universally loathed (being the unskilled coach that I am) by all of Hoosier Nation? Tough one.
