  1. But that decision directly affected his ability to do his own job (as running backs coach), so I’m not sure I agree.
  2. Anyone else hearing that retaining Hiller may have played a part in this?
  3. I was living in Houston at the time and we had a pretty solid game watch group at a place called Luke’s Ice House. Watching those Michigan games Vic’s last year was some of the most fun I’ve had watching IU sports. Zeller carried us on his back that last game against UM.
  4. If it was Yogi’s senior season then Vic wasn’t on the team.
  5. I'm assuming there's a "don't" missing there
  6. Many of these kids have been at IU for 3 or 4 years and never seen us play in the tournament or experienced many big wins. Anyone bitching about the storming the court tonight needs to get a life.
  7. I thought so live but he was falling over before XJ made contact. I think it was the right call. Either way, makeup from him getting blatantly tripped earlier.
  8. For a team that lacks depth, players like Moore-McNeil getting valuable minutes could certainly help down the stretch.
  9. Talented but mentally fragile is a great way to put it.
  10. Dear lord, just looked - 22% and the most attempts on the team.
  11. That dunk was absolutely incredible.
  12. Absolutely, it’s like they’ve never run a screen before.
  13. He also wasn't in the top 100 of 247's composite so not like he was viewed as a surefire talent.
  14. Not sure how good of a site it is, but Nbadraft.net has him going top 10!
  15. Good to see Minnesota fans actually disappointed to see him go unlike some of our other hires (e.g., Warren and Georgia). https://gopherhole.com/boards/threads/wilt-to-indiana.105062/
  16. I’m sorry I thought this was a message board.
  17. Seriously Kopp should only dribble in case of emergencies. He either turns it over or barrels into the lane and gets about a cm of elevation before shot-putting it at the hoop. It dropped a few times against OSU but I don’t think it will very often.
  18. Whoops wrong thread.
  19. Our defense is so much better with Stewart on the bench.
  20. Pretty sure it was a joke bro
  21. I find it interesting that he left to be to co-defensive coordinator at UNC, almost seems like a demotion and I would doubt it's a pay raise. I feel like there was something going on behind the scenes here.
  22. Agreed, he was a mediocre DBs coach at Georgia and a below average d coordinator here. I'm confused as to why UNC would want him to be honest. The only concern is how this will affect recruiting.
  23. I have been pretty down on IU this year and am generally not overly optimistic , but I started watching the game when we were down 15-7 (kudos to durr for hitting what was likely a momentum changing shot then) and said to my friends (and posted here) at halftime that I was enjoying watching the game. And the 2nd half was just amazing. How you didn't have an absolute blast watching that game is beyond me.
  24. They may be tied together but they are two separate assertions. Correct coach is assertion 1 and an all-time great is assertion 2. His first assertion he states/implies as already true and his second assertion will obviously happen in the future. Goodman replied to his assertion 1 and he responded with the "all said and done" which was related to his assertion 2. I realize this is a silly thing to argue about, but I'm not wrong.
