    I wish he would provide a little context to his statement of needing to come a long way to fulfill expectations.

    Agreed. The simple fact is that we couldn't risk him taking first team reps all spring and then getting hurt again. I'm happy for him and am cheering for him but letting him walk was absolutely the right decision.

    Although I obviously don’t know him or his thoughts, I see no reason that McCollough would come back next season. Go to a winning program and make more NIL money.

    I’m still incensed over that. You had the first down plus a couple more yards, just go out of bounds. Great, you made one man miss, there are two more guys right there to tackle you immediately. If he hadn’t just thrown it in the air he would have fumbled when one of those guys popped him. Huge risk for literally almost zero prospect of return.

    I agree and wasn't all that upset about the extension at the time. However, I think a big-time program hiring him with the thought that he would instill "LEO" and change the culture was always pretty far-fetched. Any AD, especially at an SEC school for example, would know that if Allen doesn't turn the program around quickly, people would sour on the rah rah culture stuff very quickly.

    Kopp is the best weak side defender and communicator on the team. There's a reason he played as much as he did last season.

    Ha, I watched this game for the first time today due to a slow work day. Yeah I don't think RMK hated it too much that game. Alford missed his first couple and then basically couldn't miss again until the end of the game. One of them he practically faked a pass and shot it in the same motion, it was amazing. Also, how the hell did Derrick Coleman end up playing college basketball for four years?

    That is a crazy high percentage, hard to even imagine nowadays. Although I guess the three point line is over 2 feet further back these days. He also shot 38% from 2 that year haha.
