As bad as they have looked, I really feel like you can see the groundwork is being laid. The timid and tentative play should go away once they get comfortable playing this new way. I don't think it's a surprise that the players who have been here the longest seem to be having the most trouble adapting. Once it "clicks," there will be no looking back. I guess it's just a matter of how long that takes.

I really think no one knows for sure. His family really seem to be keeping it close to the vest. Maybe the Vandy CB picks are just because he doesn't want to talk, so he smiles and nods and people are taking that as affirmation. Who really knows. The logic side of me says with HH, the rumors he was close to committing shortly after, and the whole pros and cons board - IU is going to be his pick.

The key is to keep getting better. Last year, we beat Kansas and everyone was fat and happy. One game does not make a season. I️ still think the key is that we are playing our best at the end of the season - not the first game. Yeah, it sucks to lose to ISU on our floor, but hopefully this team learns from it moving forward. I️ think we all were hoarding a bit of fools gold here. It will get better. I think DG knew all along he was announcing on Monday, and just did the Wednesday at 5:30 as a little inside sign to all of us that he is coming to IU.

I would say he already has pretty good info on NC, Kansas, and UCLA. The one he really wants to see is how CAM performs at a new program. Just reading between the lines for everyone...

I agree. I think it's great that we are in it at the end for both Darius and Romeo, but I think it's also impressive that they both seem like such great young men. Both seem to really be putting a lot of thought into where they want to go. I certainly want them both wearing candy stripes, but I can't root against either of them or fault them if their decisions aren't what I want.

I'm pretty sure that was discussed on here when he committed. Kinda funny considering Mike Davis wasn't the biggest fan of Kelvin Sampson. I remember seeing a quote from Davis that IU would be on probation within a year of hiring him (or something along those lines). Turned out to be prophetic.

If Archie is the straight shooter everyone says he is, I can't imagine he hasn't had conversations with RP letting him know how he fits in. I doubt RP has any illusions that he is the starter or even getting a lot of PT his freshman year. I get they play the same position, but assuming DG is only in college a year or two, I don't see there being a huge conflict here.
