Not sure where to put this, but this guy is running for an IU board of trustees position and he wants to keep athletic department money / revenue with the athletic department. If you're an alumni and care about where the athletic revenue is getting spent, you may want to check him out.

With regards to Yogi, his mom is a doctor so I doubt his family is broke or anything. Also, don't private schools in this state give out scholarships pretty regularly? I could be wrong (probably am).

Yep, agree. Is it nuts to think that IU is still in it strictly by default? Like, best option just because the others he actually wanted didn't pan out? I don't think he's actually coming here at all, but man, logically with his options... why not? Guess that's just the IU homer in me.

I'm kind of thinking the same thing. Purely a gut feeling though. Kinda feel bad for the dude in a way. He's obviously a talented kid, but he seemed to be a plan b option for both Duke and even Memphis maybe? LSU is looking real suspect and was maybe not that serious about IU for whatever reason. If he picks Bama, hope it works out for him. Would still love to see him on our roster next year, but seriously doubt it at this point. (sorry we're talking Trendon outside of his own thread)
