I'm kind of thinking the same thing. Purely a gut feeling though. Kinda feel bad for the dude in a way. He's obviously a talented kid, but he seemed to be a plan b option for both Duke and even Memphis maybe? LSU is looking real suspect and was maybe not that serious about IU for whatever reason. If he picks Bama, hope it works out for him. Would still love to see him on our roster next year, but seriously doubt it at this point. (sorry we're talking Trendon outside of his own thread)

Anybody have any intel in this one at all? By all accounts, it seems extremely unlikely... has there been any kind of Crystal Ball action or anything though?

For most of those miserable dudes, I honestly think it's all an act... some weird version of trolling. If you acted like that out in the real world, who would continue to interact with you? I would love to see how long they would last around here if everyone just blocked them like I have and never responded to any of their posts or replies. Can we actually just try that, lol? Yeah, I agree with both of you. Definitely seems like a long shot at best. If anything, I think there's a very slim chance that we land him and it'll be based solely on the circumstances of his other choices.

Yep, exactly. If I had to guess, I'd say Duke gets Hurt (who doesn't Duke get these days?) and they never actually offer TW in the end. And then TW ends up at Memphis. If IU does land him, I'll definitely be happy about it, but I think it'll happen via a combination of luck (thanks Christian!) and overall circumstance. Just my uninformed opinion though.

Chris007 stated fairly recently that IU didn't recruit him all season for one reason or another. I know people have suggested that perhaps we reached back out after the KBJ thing, but might it be that the Watfords got in contact with us instead? I mean, LSU and Bama are looking pretty suspect right now, Memphis is starting to look real full from a roster standpoint, and Duke hasn't even officially offered because they really want Hurt instead. We might just have a real shoot strictly due to circumstance. Who knows? I have no "insider" knowledge, by the way.

Not that I'm aware of. That's the power of programs like Dook, pUKe, Kan$a$$, etc. 5* kids want to be able to list them in there top choices even if they're clearly the 2nd option for that team (Hurt being the first option for Dookie).
