Basically like the crystal ball tries to do, but straight from the horses mouth, haha. Maybe kick out one school each week after all the visits are done leading up to their signing period?! Exactly. I'm not saying it makes sense for every guy that comes in, but certainly more than we typically see, right? If you have a lot of potential to be good down the road, but you're not there yet as an incoming freshman then why not?

Agreed. Really wish that was the norm for a lot more of these kids. Isn't that a big thing in Nova program? Seems to be working for them lately.

I know they take these before and after photos to make them look even better but man, Race looks like he put on some serious muscle during that redshirt season.

Agree about Green. If Phinisee comes in and somehow steals that starting PG spot, then we're in for a real good year as I think Green will make off-season strides. Also agree about Hunter coming off the bench. If Fitzner and team can figure out how to guard the opposing bigs and rebound effectively, we'll be a nightmare on the offensive end as Evan should be able to stretch the floor with his reported shooting range (giving Juwan and/or Justin room to operate... and oh yeah, this Romeo kid can score too, right? lol)

Can you explain what you mean by "but Green and Morgan will have to show they've improved their shooting." Juwan is a starter regardless of whether his shot is exactly the same as last year or improved (assuming he's coming back). With Devonte, you could convince me that he's not a starter, but I think he'll be improved all-around (fingers crossed b/c I think he's got some real potential).

I don't know, man... I think that's a pretty drool-worthy lineup myself, lol. Juwan is already a stud and per Chris007, Justin is dominating everyone. We already know Romeo's a stud too and Devonte is sort of a "trick or treat" stud, haha. I think Phinisee coming in is actually going to push Devonte to another level, but hopefully that's just not wishful thinking. I really can't see Archie wanting to play Juwan at the 5, but maybe. Regardless, I definitely like our options more this year.

With that being said by someone close to the action, I'd be surprised if Phinisee started over Green. With the De'Ron injury situation, I think the following lineup might be realistic (and ideal?) given what Archie runs... PG - Devonte Green SG - Romeo Langford F - Justin Smith F - Juwan Morgan C - Evan Fitzner (or maybe Race, but he's listed at 6'8") If Devonte can keep things under control and Justin has made the leap like Chris007 suggests, then this could be a scary good starting lineup with some real skill coming off the bench. Just my 2 cents...

Haha, unless that KU "insider" is actually one of the Langfords, then I think it's pretty safe to assume they're full of crap. Plus, all you have to do is read between the lines a little from 007's posts and replies... 1. Chris007 - The reason I went up so high is because of who I heard it from. (emphasis on WHO) and then later on at some point... 2a. BTB Poster - I trust chris 007 and pap alot but i will have some doubt until it is official. I mean if i was them and archie told me personally and showed me his signed papers i would be pretty confident lol 2b. Chris 007 - I have not seen any pictures of anything signed but the rest is kind of right (emphasis on "but the rest is kind of right") I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I take that to mean that someone from the actual coaching staff (not necessarily Archie himself, but someone close) confirmed Romeo to IU... as in the ol' oxymoronic "silent verbal" commitment. Just my 2 cents though.
