  1. Just figured out how to do it! Consider it done. Truly thankful today for this BTB feature... Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
  2. He's not arguing for no reason. He's calling you out for backtracking (which is a 1000% reality in this case). Can someone please remind me how to block / ignore people's posts on here? [emoji19]
  3. Care to elaborate on this rumor, Chris?
  4. Still really liking the Race Thompson connection on this one...
  5. Yep, noticed that as well. I'm not sure where Keion, Hurt, Wiseman, etc end up, but I'd bet the farm we see another Watford in candy stripes. (no insider info, just a gut feeling).
  6. Seems to be working fine on my Android phone now
  7. I noticed the same thing and was actually a bit surprised how lopsided it was with IUBB comments and support. Like they say, in 49 states it's just basketball, but this is Indiana.
  8. Yeah, when I tried the link posted on the board, it came back as deleted. For some reason though, it was still in my Twitter feed when I went in through the actual app.
  9. Haha, apparently. I love this move.
  10. Yeah, ok... but why? Like others have said, we weren't using the scholly and it has no negative impact on his eligibility + he gets a year to learn the system, train, practice with/against better players, etc. What's the downside I'm missing?
  11. His IU-fan dad is going to be heartbroken if he goes to pUke, lol
  12. Agreed. Although, I'm optimistic as well. I think he ends up staying close to home and UL and UK won't be in the picture... too much stink for a clean cut family like his. IU is the obvious choice, especially after getting to know a down to earth coach like Arch.
  13. I think if the opportunity is there, you take both in a heartbeat and figure it out later. Both are waaay too talented to pass up.
  14. Really? Just a gut feeling? He (and his parents) don't seem like the kind of people interested in the one and done type of bball factories.
  15. http://d1vision.com/keion-brooks-four-working-hardest/ Indiana: “It’s in-state and close to home. Growing up in Indiana, just about every kid wants to play for IU. That’s always been a dream of mine.” I'm liking this...
  16. Agreed. I realize the age limit is an NBA rule, but the NCAA is obviously blinded by all the revenue and in no hurry to to put their foot down when it comes to 1-and-done kids pretending to be "student" athletes. I'm all in favor of an expanded D-League or no age requirement at all.
  17. Man, am I crazy for really thinking we're gonna land this kid? He sure does seem to like IU. This was his response to Al Durham's latest IG post (with other IUBB players chiming in too).
  18. Wonder if he'll do some on-air stuff if he doesn't find a job that he likes right away? I remember him being pretty good and getting a lot of positive feedback after doing The Vertical's live NBA draft show last year. I mean, he certainly knows how to talk it up in an entertaining way.
  19. Agreed. Being a Hoosier, Titus always seems to capture what Indiana and more largely, the Midwest, is all about with pieces like this.
  20. Yep, agreed. I honestly like Green's potential as our PG... he's quicker, more athletic, a better passer, and seems to have better court vision than Newkirk, Rojo, and JBJ. If anyone can turn him into an excellent starting PG, it's our new coach who just happened to be a PG himself.
  21. Flame on! I may be a total idiot optimist, but based on these guys social media posts, it seems like they're buying in to Archie and ready to make another run as a whole team. After all, these guys are all basketball players through and through and at some point I think they collectively realized that Crean is a moron and their ceiling will always be low with him at the helm. With Miller in place, I think they understand that they can now reach their true potential and really take off (i.e. Rojo's rocket tweet). Just my opinion though.
  22. So what's a reasonable timeline for this kind of stuff? Does anybody have any solid, concrete ideas or estimation? I'm fully assuming that JBJ, OG, and TB will do the NBA combine stuff regardless if they plan on leaving or not, but what's a reasonable expectation for actually knowing who's all staying and who's not?
  23. Totally agree with this. Not to mention our guards will actually get to learn from a tough, blue-collar basketball guy that ACTUALLY played collegiate ball as a point guard at a legit D1 school. As opposed to a hyperactive weirdo who players say they never saw him shoot the ball... like, not even once. How do you spend that much time in a b-ball gym and NEVER put up at least one shot???
  24. Right, I'm suggesting that perhaps he feels that same way to an extent at this point.
