There's so many great posters on here, but I absolutely LOVE IT when USPS mic-drops someone like this with the coldest of cold hard facts, baby. -

I believe that's a Bradley tank train, no? -

Apologies if this has already been discussed regarding Dusty May, but all else being equal, if he had no past ties to IU whatsoever, do you think he would still be as high on the candidates list as he appears to be for many? And for the record, I think he's a great coach who will have an extremely successful career when it's all said and done regardless of where he's coaching. I would love to see him return to IU if Brad doesn't work out - I think he'd crush it. Just curious how much of that "he's an IU guy" still exists even after this Woodson debacle. Thoughts? -

Not that it's my money, but what's our NIL refund policy lol? -

Man, you really do a great job speaking up for Brad and his family! You must be really close to them to have that level of insight! Or maybe you're just confusing your peronsal opinion with actual facts... a thing that happens to a lot of us here on BTB, admittedly. -

I'm convinced there's one weirdo, multiple-personality type troll on here who has like 20 different accounts. -

I totally get that - I've been here since 2016 and definitely don't post / reply that often. But I give lots of reactions lol. To each their own, I suppose. -

Been lurking for almost 8 years and never once even gave a Like, Thanks, Haha, etc. reaction to someone else's post? That's ELITE lurking on a whole other level LOL. -

Sarcasm... how cute. My 12 year old daughter likes to use it too. Thinking about this logically though - why would the "national" media, folks who cover the OVERALL ginormous body of college b-ball, be better connected than the BTB insiders who LIVE in Bloomington and/or work for the university?? I can't tell if you guys just want to argue or if you really don't realize your argument makes no sense. -

Exactly! We're not having fun yet?! To each their own, but to me, coach-search season equals two things... Actual excitement for something IU b-ball related, which has been real hard to come by the last 4 years IMO and... That Big Foot is finally ready to disappear for good :) -

Really makes me wonder how Crean would've done in the NIL era with IU's big pockets and maybe like a realllly good personal assistant or two to keep the chaos at a minimum and everything organized well. Wonder if he'll ever coach again?? -

I mean, I guess. Just seems like there's a lot of other really good coaches out there in play that could be options if we missed on Brad. Again, sounds like heavy speculation of what the IU admin could / would do vs. what several knowledable folks on here have said absolutely won't happen. -

Based on what intel?? The handful of BTB "insider" posters that consistenly have good insight to what's really going on have ALL said very recently that Beard has no shot... as in 0%. To me, it doesn't sound like Beard is low on the candidate list - it sounds very much like he's not on the list at all and never will be. -

It's beyond laughable. This might be the last half I actually watch this season which makes me sad. But it's pathetic. -

Scale from 1 to 10 -- how confident are you in IU finally getting Brad? I'm full steam ahead on the Stevens train -- ready to have my heart broken again. -

^^ THISSSS ^^ Everybody comparing the current situation to how things worked in the past and completely skipping over the whole NIL thing is wild to me. The Mark Few thing is the perfect example - Gonzaga had the advantage in the past because they had the MUCH better coach with consistent success to show for it. That has gone right out the window in the NIL era and now money talks (openly) -- major advantage for IU.
