  1. As mentioned above by ap…..these days, due to the portal, this is an easier choice for Curry. If he can compete with the other lineman he will get national recognition, possibly compete for a natty and be on the path to the NFL. If he is recruited over, or just can’t crack the starting lineup, IU will salivate at the chance to accept him in 2-3 years via the portal.
  2. That’s a bummer. Looks like we might have a good incoming freshman or two but I thought a seasoned transfer would also be a good addition.
  3. I know nothing about him but 8 Big Ten offers, plus Pitt/West Va etc, is enough to tell me this is a great recruit to get this late. Bummer we lost Hoover but if the rest of the class stays with us we will have a better group of incoming players than I anticipated after last seasons mess. Wonder if he has any OL buddies LOL
  4. I try not to dwell on next year because we are potentially losing a lot of players/production. Hopefully we get a big in the portal and JHS is good from the get-go because it’s very possible we lose all 5 of our starters and possibly all three of our PG’s. It will be interesting to see if any of the current starters use their extra year.
  5. Yep, I wish him the best and hope he works out for us but 209 rushing yards total in 3 years, with 98 of those in a single game vs Mercer, isn’t exactly an inspirational resume. We will see.
  6. Worse part of the game…If Leal would have made a layup, instead of pulling it out, I would have nailed IU’s score in the prediction league. Booooo
  7. I’d like to see a few minutes of Mullet Man.
  8. Leal is in again. KL is on a milk carton.
  9. Good call for the announcer to say the second unit is in…except for Kopp (and he also missed TJD and X …LOL)
  10. Nice shot and then pass by X. Would be nice if the X rollarcoaster did not have such extreme up and downs.
  11. When he played at Iowa he was one of those guys I couldn’t stand but would have liked to have him on my team. Always played really hard.
  12. Yes, there was a sighting. You could clearly see him clapping when Kopp made the second three.
  13. Yep, those quick 4 point swings are just a killer.
  14. I’ve never heard that before but have heard many pundits say Merrimack is one of the toughest road teams in the country.
  15. IU - 83 Merrysomething or other - 63
  16. If they also add OL targets I’ll be very happy.
  17. Let me think for a minute…….IU football in a bowl game perhaps?
  18. I’ve even wondered if he will come back from Christmas break.
  19. As mentioned by others X went full bore “hero ball”. He was 4-16 from the field while TJD only took 11 shots and Parker did not score in the second half.
  20. Did you go to IU? There is no frigging way in the world I would catch a bus to support PU or even consider doing so for a microsecond.
  21. Another year of Archie would have been insufferable and most of the players we have wouldn’t have stayed on the team. We had zero momentum with Archie, ZERO, who led us to yet another 9th place finish in his 4th season. Another year of Archie would have been a DISASTER..
  22. Won’t beat anyone scoring 17 in a half. I’m bummed but not close to the degree of those that are “done”. First half showed we can and will win a fair number of games. TJD shut down and X tried to put on a Superman cape. Really forced way too much.
  23. Durr did not travel
  24. Please, please, please start the second half strong.
