That was fantastic. The odd thing is that TJD missed his next 3 free throws. Also kudos to KL for hitting his pressure free throw and then artfully missing the second. And Kopp nailed all three of his pressure packed free throws. 28 points tonight for him!

It was very frustrating that they did not show replays. Like you, when watching it live, I did not think KL fouled him but the camera angle shown on the SVP show clearly showed it was a foul. It wasn’t even questionable (again, to my surprise).

ESPN just showed the replay on SVP show. Lander clearly fouled him (pulled his arm down) and it was much more obvious than I expected.

Haven’t read many kudo’s to Kopp and Stewart. Kopp 4-9 from the three (with 28 points) and Stewart 6-12 from the three (20 points). It will be huge if at least one of them can hit threes every game. Race was only 2 rebounds and 3 to’s from a very rare quadruple double…..

Agreed. That was an unfortunate cluster. I was very confident we were going to win it there.

Yes, For all of the bitching about the refs (much of which I agree with) the foul that gave Kopp his 3 free throws was ticky tacky. Also, when TJD got the offensive board, off KL’s intentional miss, he blatantly pushed off to get the board and then I don’t think he was fouled on the shot. In any case, you just can’t turn the ball over that much. Cuse had over 30 points off TO’s. Just a crazy number.

Wouldn’t surprise me since KL was sitting the entire game and then all the sudden gets pressure late game minutes when X fouled out. I was wondering why but Rob having an injury could be the answer.

Agree. I feel much more hopeful after we fought back. If we came out playing tight D (especially around the perimeter), and had 12-15 TO’s, we would have won easily. I think the consistent D part of the equation will be easier to fix but we have already had way too may TO’s a number of game.

Yea, I’m not saying it’s the end of the world/season but I thought we might have too many to’s, might shoot poorly but really thought we would pressure their guys (rather than watch a game of h.o.r.s.e.). Just disappointing but we will soon see how we do against NB and Wiscy.
