  1. Why would you say that? That was a rather, to say the least, sloppy couple of minutes.
  2. Just guessing it’s not exactly impossible to get weed in Bloomington.
  3. Ha, that’s true about the mental health of the board but when you look at the upcoming games this is an awfully important game to get a W.
  4. In spite of “crook” it’s a sellout :)
  5. Yep. They have played teams tough the last 4 games. Lost @ UM by 2, lost at home to Illini by 3, won at home vs Rutgers by 1 and most recently won at NE by 24.
  6. Yep, I’m not saying I think we will win 2/4. I could see us winning @NW and beating Wiscy but can also see us going 1-3 or 0-4. Hoping for 2-2 and that we might be a little overly pessimistic because we lost to a good team in which we poorly match up.
  7. For the most part Kopp and Stewart just stand around on the wing. Without movement, or running plays to get them open, Kopp and Stewart don’t often get the ball in a threatening position and are kept in check by defenders that are forced to go out further than the lane but don’t need to continuously defend them particularly tight. Nothing against either guy but I don’t like them starting together.
  8. Won’t be easy but winning 2 of the next 4 is pretty important in our drive to the dance. Odds of doing so are minuscule if we don’t win at NW. @Northwestern @MSU Wiscy @OSU
  9. Why would we laugh? My first second sentence literally mentioned they have multiple guards that can hit the three and take it to the hole. They have several good guards that can score from anywhere on the floor and defend.
  10. Georgia was hosed by the non-call on Auburns last drive. Georgia, however, missed the front end of a one and one and another free throw.Gotta hit the FT’s.
  11. That Auburn dude just barreled into the defender. Should have been a charge.
  12. Yes, that’s where we need to improve. Hopefully JHS plays as advertised and Bates comes around.
  13. On a non-related note. Watching Crean vs Auburn on SEC network. Georgia up 2 with a few minutes to go. Georgia has never beaten a #1.
  14. Crean leading Auburn by 2 with a few minutes to go. Georgia has never beaten a #1.
  15. Rob played out of his mind against PU. We needed someone to do that, or something close to it, but no one dramatically impacted the game.
  16. Illinois is tough. I was way off thinking Underwood, early in his time at Illinois, would only last a few years. Kofi is a beast and it really helps him, and them, that they have multiple guys that can both hit the three and take it to the hole. In the second half we just stood around a lot on offense.
  17. In Whitehead Duke has a good one coming in next year. They have 3 of the top 5 recruits in the country coming in next year (and another guy ranked 13th). Crazy/sickening/impressive. Will be interesting to see if they keep it up 3 or so years post-K. JHS had 6 assists and 6 to’s but it was good to see he was 7-1 the game before.
  18. They are gold. He was also an offensive threat from everywhere on the court as opposed to guys that can only shoot 3’s or guys that can only take it to the rim.
  19. That’s good news. I’m skeptical that not playing at all for two games was solely because of matchups (Harrar of PSU, Duncan played against MD?) but in any case just having a big body leaning on Kofi will be helpful.
  20. Yep, it’s going to be an interesting off season. In the meantime I’m 98% focused on this season…LOL
  21. My surprise with this is landing him would mean 4 of our current players, all of whom are eligible to return, would have to leave in order to make room for the incoming recruits. Guess it shows that the coaches have a pulse on what’s going to happen this off season. EDIT: upon another 3 minutes of reflection (ha) it illustrates that the staff is not satisfied where we stand in regards to our big men next year. I much prefer us aggressively filling positions of need vs the Archie days of desperately needing shooters etc but still inexplicably leaving 2 scholarships open.
  22. Good observation about the street clothes. Hope your right as I found it very strange he didn’t play at all in the last two games. Early in the season I was glad we landed him specifically because of the PU and Illinois games.
