Cody will end up somewhere. In any case, he is a smart level headed guy that has already made $75 million in his career. Probably cleared around 40 or so and should be set for the rest of his life. Good for him.

Durr did not play against PSU (he would have been a decent matchup against their big man) and didn’t play in the MD blowout in which even Duncan got in. After the PSU game Woody gave a smirking “coaches decision” response when asked about Durr not playing. Durr played in pretty much every game this year. I don’t think it was a coincidence, or bad match-ups, that all the sudden didn’t play in two games in a row vs PSU and MD.

It would be a bummer but I think we could get a “Durr like” player in the portal. He is a 5-10 minute guy, and I am a fan in regards to the role he fills, with a big body. Good to have him when we play against bruisers, has a nice stroke but can’t jump 2 inches and doesn’t get a rebound that is not directly over his head (and can’t hold onto some of them). Im not advocating for him to get booted but IF he is a ringleader, and IF he has already been in trouble, I say adios and get someone from the portal.

Not to mention Durr has now been held out of 3/4 last games. Big Mike might be going to his third school next year if he doesn’t get his “stuff” together.

Gotta say…your sarcasm meter tonight is running a solid 15 on a scale of 0-10. We get it, you are tired of excuses and there should never be an excuse. Got it. Point made.

I kind of expected a game like that from TJD tonight. I was wrong….

TJD….Just can’t miss the first of a one and one in crunch time.

Call me crazy but this isn’t over. First few possessions out of this time out are huge.

ANOTHER missed shot in which TJD should have used his right.

We had 5 points in the first 8 minutes of the second half. Too many of our first or second half starts are maddening. That being said, the guys are busting their butts. We really need to stop their offensive boards and Mr. Kopp…please score some friggin points, you’ve done it before (in a different uniform).

It’s weird because TJD has hit some incredibly high pressure free throws this year but other times……

In spite of the horrible 2-3 minute stretch of to’s we only had 5 TO’s in the first half.

I remember it well. VERY well. Used to bet games back then, settled down at a Chicago sports bar with my buddies to watch the nationally televised game (big deal back then) only to see us start all subs. Needless to say all my buddies, and me, owed the bookie after that one. LOL

He may or may not be but……some weeks it seems like there are posts about how great it is that Wisconsin patiently waits three years for big guys to develop but then the next week we are impatient with one of our big guys half way through their freshman year.
