  1. Good question.
  2. Woodson came back. He was the the Big Ten's MVP.......but they didn't have Wittman. IIRC.
  3. Ummmm.........Billy Clyde?
  4. Good question. He played last year, but I think they held him out at some point in time. Not sure.
  5. As I said, don't shoot the postman. But one thing I get a kick out of myself, is people parlaying a HS kid's career on through to the NBA. We are just talking HS right here.
  6. A lot of times people think they are above the "law". Bill is one of them.
  7. They need him, and they know it. Kansas' season is on the brink.
  8. Per NBC...... This likely ends his college career. De Sousa’s guardian, Fenny Falmagne, received $2,500 from Christian Dawkins and agreed to accept another $20,000 from a former Adidas consultant, T.J. Gassnola. The second payment was to payback a booster from Maryland that had paid Falmagne $60,000 to get De Sousa to College Park. “In my 30-plus years of coaching college basketball, I have never witnessed such a mean-spirited and vindictive punishment against a young man who did nothing wrong,” Bill Self said in a statement released by the university. “To take away his opportunity to play college basketball is shameful and a failure of the NCAA. Silvio is a tremendous young man who absolutely deserves to be on the court with his teammates. This process took way too long to address these issues. We will support Silvio as he considers his options.”
  9. Oh, those ranking services know everything.
  10. The '75 team was the best team I ever saw, so they are #1 on my list. I also wonder how '74 might have played out if they got into the tournament. '93 and '83 were tough ones for sure. But so was '80.
  11. Just like UNLV with Tarkanian, Lute built 'Zona.
  12. All I can say is, don't shoot the postman!
  13. In regards to my "Is the Glass half empty or half full" post. I think we got twice as much Glass as what we really need. Bada Bing, Bada, Boom.
  14. And now "metrics" have become involved in the recruiting process! Can we skip that and just go to some DNA test? LOL
  15. Ohio St.?
  16. Hey, baseball season is right around the corner.
  17. Ya just never know in these things when you jump to the next level.
  18. Kind of funny when I look back...wth happened to UNLV, Marquette, DePaul, and San Francisco? Heck, you could throw Notre Dame in there as well.
  19. Great take. And one I agree with. Sometimes I sit back and look at my lifetime. Just looking at the teams that have fallen off the map. And teams that have popped onto the map.
  20. I wasn't sure so I called. My buddy's son was on the all-star team with Oden and Conley. He has seen all the guys you mentioned and maintains that Franklin is the best HS player he has ever seen with Gordon and Yogi not far behind. Yes, it is opinion. But one I don't take lightly. That's all I got.
  21. Do you mean half full or half empty of said ingredients?
  22. Curious as to what you guys define them as.
  23. Quick question.....Is the Glass half empty or half full?
  24. Is that our new starting 5?
