  1. I am not disagreeing, just pointing out where Josh is coming from and subsequent posts.
  2. Drew was called out.
  3. I think you are missing the entire point about Drew here. We got people defending Archie...but yet it is alright to call out Drew? Most of the other comments were sarcasm involving a certain post.
  4. I will remember that 3 year thing.
  5. From where I sit...McRoberts is a major liability. And Fitzner is not cut out for this level of competition. Marquette was an eon ago. Green can play in this league.
  6. Okay. If you had to pick one. Picking the one that is the best player. Who do you take? Green? McRoberts? Or Fitzner?
  7. Well, he is a better difference maker than McBob.
  8. For us "old-timers", this really changed the way of how the NCAAT was ran. That rule has evolved into what "March Madness" is today. It also did away with independents. My how the times have changed from when I was a young lad.
  9. This part is where I question Archie. Implement something that gets the offense scoring 70+. Personnel changes? Perhaps. Different offensive scheme? Maybe. How about speeding up the game? Now that is the one I like.
  10. We need Green. The "bad" Devonte is better than the "good" McRoberts.
  11. Absolutely. He needs time to change the culture.
  12. Interesting read. Although it did just concentrate on 5 guys. But where were the fries?
  13. C'mon now! Drew just needs time to get his guys there. Ya know, to run his system.
  14. Yeah, Smith is an enigma to me. I see the "raw" talent, but something don't seem right with him. Quite frankly, I feel he is playing out of position now. But I don't really know where to put him. He is not working as the 4.....and you are right, he won't work as the 3. At least in this offense. Head scratcher.
  15. He had no position to play in the NBA. He was a forward trapped in a guard's body.
  16. I don't know about that wired part. But as far as the 5*s, Garland was in the backyard. And I have no idea how he landed Shittu, who I believe is from Canada. Drew is between a rock and a hard place. You got Tennessee and now you got Penny at Memphis. Not a good recruiting base to begin with at all. Add to it the SEC is on the rise from a talent standpoint as well as a coaching standpoint. I really don't foresee him lasting much longer there. To be honest, I don't know why he took the job in the first place.
  17. Yeah, definitely in some cases. But I have seen steps that wake up a kid out of his funk. We shall see how this plays out.
  18. Damon had a fabulous career at IU. Just happened to be there with other great players. The win total says it all. The height probably hampered him going to the next level. The Brown kid likely won't get the extra games that Bailey or Romeo did. Now Blackmon, I don't know. Kind of funny that they are so close proximity wise.
  19. Didn't really know where to put this. Informative read. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/two-class-of-2021-players-with-iu-ties-likely-to-threaten-damon-baileys-record/
  20. Addition by subtraction?
  21. Makes you wonder if DeBoer was on USC's radar?
  22. I read something on him yesterday. IIRC, he is on pace to be the first player in 27 years to average 20 pts. and 10 assists per game.
  23. I don't know about that. Playing 2 bigs might just very well open everything up.
  24. That is the same way I feel about McBob and Fitz.
