  1. Gents, I love talking some Indiana High School hoops. I am even more intrigued by the southern part of the state. I don't hear that stuff up here where I am at. Thank you for keeping me updated.
  2. Yeah, you should have! Honestly, I haven't seen any video of him. I have seen his stat line, impressive. I can see why Sampson wanted him at Houston. Nothing wrong with playing for your Dad, but at Detroit the kid is going to fly under the radar on the national stage...unless the team improves.
  3. So you are saying....he can't guard a chair? LOL
  4. You are right, I have no idea what FCTC was thinking.
  5. Don't look now but UC's Mick Cronin is working on another 30 win season. That would make the 3rd one in a row. Dang impressive.
  6. I don't know about that. Their conference is pretty good historically. Oak Hill is in that same one and they won a state title last year. Frankton is in it as well, and they are looking pretty dang fine this year.
  7. I did not know that but it makes sense. I don't think the younger guys realize realize how good of a player Mike Davis was. He wasn't chopped liver. He was a Mr. Basketball and had very good career at 'Bama scoring over 1,000 points. He knows what it is to be in the "Big Time". Only natural for him to want his son to be in it too.
  8. Gene Keady 2.0?
  9. Painter gets a bad rap from most IU fans, the guy can coach. Manages his roster well. With that being said I think I will have a pork chop for dinner.
  10. Yeah, I want nothing to do with Nova. Jay has them clicking right now. Helluva coach.
  11. I am afraid they are that good.
  12. Like it or not...time to face facts. Purdue is good.
  13. Amazing feat for a Soph with a month or more left in the season. But I think Damon's record is safe.
  14. Yes he is....and from what I understand it is quite the basketball family.
  15. Actually I am kinda surprised he hasn't transferred to Delta......just right down SR 3.
  16. That is funny. Being a Reds fan, HoF announcer Marty Brennaman always used to say "It doesn't matter who you play, it matters when you play them."
  17. That Sir, may very well be the greatest post I have ever read. I loved it, spot on, and Thank you.
  18. Geez, I miss those Hoya/Redmen games from the early to mid 80's.
  19. My buddy said he couldn't believe that IU recruited him. Coming from an Illinois grad says something. But those ranking services...and Hanner's ties to an IU alum.
  20. I love Mike's articles. But I wish he would have touched on another thing in this one. The Romeo factor.
  21. LOL....I got a buddy that lives in LaPorte. He went to some of Hanner's games. Said he wasn't a basketball player. That he was more suited to be a d-lineman in football.
  22. "The Movement" was over rated by the system that was in place. Wasn't Hanner a 5*? Hollowell? Patterson couldn't cut grades...how did he work out for a HoF coach at Syracuse? And then we got Peter Jurkin.
  23. Kid is only a sophomore. But I am sure IU is aware of him.
  24. So Crean mismanaged these guys? Gimme a break.
