    I think that stuff was all due to their football team becoming an Independent. But I agree with you they should have stayed in the MWC or looked to the Pac-12.

    That is true...but that is the same Iowa team that tanked coming down the stretch. But they were a fine squad...as were we.

    But I must add, none of those Iowa teams that Crean beat were as good as the one Fran has now.

    Anything can be done. But the recruiting mindset of the coaches has to change as to what players they are going after.

    And there is where the "team chemistry" manifests itself. It becomes a cancer when guys can't "wait their turn" or understand their role on a team. Guys like Laskowski, Bouchie, and even Hillman are from long gone era.

    No, Blackford is very bad. Luke has no help whatsoever. Southern Wells is bad and Blackford snuck by them. Right now it is a one man show, albeit very good, but it very difficult to play 1 on 5. My guess would be the Bruins are one and done come sectional time, and it won't be Luke's fault.

    Happy B-day. My son is 27(soon to be 28) and he was in the living room with me watching that IU/Duke game. My daughter is 23 and she only knows "IU sucks". She still doesn't understand why I watch them. And that saddens me. But anyway, enjoyed your post and have a beer on me!!!!
