  1. IU played Wright State last year. IU won 89-80.
  2. Yeah, IU seems very on the bubble right now in most brackets. My completely not fully researched ranking of Big Ten resumes: Purdue Michigan State Illinois Michigan Oregon Wisconsin UCLA Maryland Indiana Nebraska Ohio State Northwestern Iowa Penn State USC Rutgers Washington Minnesota
  3. Woodson does work from 6 am to 5 PM. Cigars ain't gonna smoke themselves.
  4. Lunardi’s bracket this morning has IU as the last team in.
  5. On the high major end I see less chance of bid stealers because of the number of teams that would already be at large bids.
  6. On the most up to date Bracketmatrix, IU is in 27 of the 69 (39%) brackets submitted and overall would be the second team out. Also worth mentioning that it improves to 25 out of 47 (53%) if you only include brackets that were submitted after the Ohio State game. i would also suggest (and ask USPS to weigh in) that there will be fewer seed stealers this year as the power 5 teams are currently looking to have so many at large bids and not many mid majors are going to have a team that would be an at large if they don’t win their tournament.
  7. I simply don't get how they could be as high as a NET 24. Four quad 1 games, all losses (including one at home). No wins in road games. 8 of their 14 wins are quad 4. Horrible, horrible non-conference SOS (329 NET, 342 RPI, 364 POM). I know the video says they have some holes in their resume, but IMO NET is taking efficiency measures way out of wack.
  8. I thought prior to the kick that it wasn’t the right call and that was assuming he made it.
  9. IU transfer acquisitions linked with the addition of Boykin. Also added in 247's transfer portal ranking for the player by position and overall ranking. Very impressive group. Was shocked to see how high 247 rated Amariyun Knighten (corner from Northern Illinois). I have also added our recruits out, their destination and their portal ratings. Of note: top 500 transfers in: 6. top 500 transfers out: 1 top 100 transfers in: 15. top 1000 transfers out: 2. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HkHOPCXQowEXP28uvzvaAHspgGxBnh9w_jCR8y3U_uM/edit?usp=sharing
  10. Uncalled holds always completely change outcomes. First down okay at the 30 there was a huge one that you can’t miss on ND
  11. I forgot that there was a popular saying of ‘I don’t know anyone under the 25 year old who has ever sent an e-mail’.
  12. But that’s not what you said. You said ‘I don’t know anyone under the age of 25 that has sent an e-mail.’
  13. You are really bending yourself into a pretzel to try to come up with a way that 11-9 doesn’t get them in. Basically by hand picking these ‘wins’ to make IU’s resume look bad you are leaving IU with only losses for the season that are quad. That’s basically what an Oklahoma team’s resume was a co yo ole of years ago when they got left out EXCEPT they were 19-14 and not 20-11
  14. I teach and you couldn’t be more incorrect.
  15. The timeout call they gave msu that ended with underwood getting a tech was brutal.
  16. Simply put….that’s not true. Too many guys are stuck not realizing what a resume looks like for the 10 and 11 seed teams in the tournament. An 11-9 finish would give IU 9 quad 1/2 wins and 20 games against quad 1/2 competition and zero losses below quad 2. As it stands right now, IU doesn’t have any losses that aren’t quad 1. While blow out losses are bad, the committee hates Q3/4 losses more.
  17. A three or four game losing streak with a couple more blowouts likely ends any chance of making the tournament.
  18. It does but I think ref homerism in Big is exemplified by games there.
  19. Kathy has been on here to defend the board, NGW/Tyme are Woodson shills.
  20. No, he replied to a couple of tweets after he scrubbed his history that asked him about it.
  21. Expectations this year are much higher and last year we were coming off back to back tourney appearances. If it gets away this year it’s back to back Jon-appearances.
  22. NGW and Tyme are the same person.
  23. 11-9 puts Indiana at 20 wins and likely with 5 or 6 quad 1 wins. 11-9 will put them in given the remains schedule
  24. I know there is context, just saying that the list isn't accurate. I only looked at one season that wasn't mentioned and a game under Woodson that wasn't. I'm quite sure there are others that aren't on the list. Edit: In 2009-10, Crean's second year, IU had 32 and 28 point losses. So that would move all of Woodson's worst margins out except the 29 point loss to St. Mary's and I'm sure the chart is missing some other games since I've easily found quite a few. It doesn't make Woodson any better than he is, just saying that the 25 point back to back losses are horrible regardless of them not being in the top ten.
