If it were that simple, he wouldn't have been back after last season. Anyway, I don't begrudge anyone for what they are rooting for because what you root for has zero bearing on the result. I can't find myself rooting for losses but I also can accept the consequences of losses if we move on. And if I root for a win and we do win and Woodson stays....me rooting for a win had no impact on the result anyway.

Leal, Galloway, Hatton, Ballo, and Goode all are out of eligibility at the end of the year. Only one recruit coming in an he seems to be an IU guy first, Woodson second. Players with eligibility left: Rice (2 years), Carlyle (2 years), MM (2 years), Reneau (1 year), Newton (3 years), Cupps (3 years). Will be debatable which of those players would be back with or without Woodson. Point is, there is going to be tons of personnel changes with or without Woodson being retained. Likely Dolson has a short list already and the plan will be to move on very quickly in order to use the portal.

Personally, I would go with Ballo, Reneau, Goode, Galloway, and Rice. Mgbako right now is off and defensively he's been really, really bad. Minute distribution is going to more important than who starts, though. Mgbako certainly can shoot but he still hasn't shown much in terms of offensive movement or flow which is why I think it's hard to have Ballo, Reneau, and MM all on the floor together. That said, I think you might be screaming because it certainly won't surprise me if Goode is pulled from the lineup.

Whenever I've been to a game at Northwestern, it's been about 50% IU fans, 50% Northwestern fans. They have the student section set up at one end to give the illusion of home court, but there really isn't much of one. The home court advantage is more about the fact that they play trash ball and the refs won't call all of the fouls.

I understand why Butler is playing off of Johnson on the defensive end but they are SO far off him that he's basically just able to set up a screen anywhere he wants to.

Any word on Tucker or Reneau? IU is stuck with an eight man rotation without them. FWIW, the player whom IU has had the best +/- with on the court per minute played is.......Malik Reneau. Now part of that is the horrible results that IU has had when Woodson has put four or five bench players on the court together, especially early in the year, but that doesn't explain it all.

IU played Wright State last year. IU won 89-80.

Lunardi’s bracket this morning has IU as the last team in.

On the high major end I see less chance of bid stealers because of the number of teams that would already be at large bids.

On the most up to date Bracketmatrix, IU is in 27 of the 69 (39%) brackets submitted and overall would be the second team out. Also worth mentioning that it improves to 25 out of 47 (53%) if you only include brackets that were submitted after the Ohio State game. i would also suggest (and ask USPS to weigh in) that there will be fewer seed stealers this year as the power 5 teams are currently looking to have so many at large bids and not many mid majors are going to have a team that would be an at large if they don’t win their tournament.

I simply don't get how they could be as high as a NET 24. Four quad 1 games, all losses (including one at home). No wins in road games. 8 of their 14 wins are quad 4. Horrible, horrible non-conference SOS (329 NET, 342 RPI, 364 POM). I know the video says they have some holes in their resume, but IMO NET is taking efficiency measures way out of wack.
