In the long term, it’s better to have both a good coach and money to pay players. Good coaches can absolutely win with the roster we have, regardless of the I’ll fit.

Personally, I think admin is worrying too much about ‘the optics’. The media HATED the Woodson hire. The talking heads who wrote ill about the Miller and crean firings were guys who had personal relationships with them.

Regardless of the results, I do not think Woodson will stop playing Ballo and Reneau together. I think in Woody's mind, he is coming back until he doesn't want to. In that case, he wants to keep Reneau happy so that he'll come back next year. I also say that having no doubt that he has had a discussion with Buckner and Dolson at this point indicating that he would be 'retiring' at the end of the year. But narcissists gonna narcissist.

Not that it matters, but I would an explanation on why Leal's dunk was basket interference. There was someone (Berry) directly underneath him. So what is he supposed to do in that circumstance? Would the ball have stayed in the basket if he hadn't hung on? Don't know. But if he's legally allowed to hang on the rim by rule (player safety), how can it be basket interference?
