We all had some thoughts on who it was but never quite put a finger on it. The person who I thought it was I don't think it is now. (I don't think it was someone on the staff but was someone with connections to the staff). Let's just say if it was indeed who I originally thought it was, Tyme will not post again.
We are not better without Reneau. And it has nothing to do with floor spacing. Last couple of games were aberrations. Woodson can't teach floor spacing so might as well have guys that can put the ball in the bucket if they get it.
He was a good three point shooter in high school and last year at Bellarmine he was a least a threat to shoot the three -- 15 of 45 (33%).
He hasn't taken a single three at IU.
Offensive spacing not as good tonight as it was the past three games. Screens also not as frequent or as hard. Ballo and Goode are the players who have set the best screens this year but real infrequent tonight.
Not good ball movement but a lot of that is standing around.
Bryson Tucker's shot selection is just so bad. Fade away shots and missed three point shots. The fact that he's just under 40% for the season show he can score because you shouldn't hit 40% of the shots he's taking.....but HE HAS TO BE TAUGHT TO TAKE BETTER SHOTS.
Iowa isn't good defensively but they are taking away guys who could thrive in a game like this. Galloway...no shots. Goode has two. I love love love Leal but man he has to look at the basket....at least present himself as a perimeter threat. He's definitely a positive and right now they need him in but his ceiling is higher if he just hits a couple of shots.
