Brunk averaged about 7 1/2 boards per 40 minutes last as did Davis. I fully expect we will be getting more rebounds from the 4 than the 5 next year.

The 14-16 points IMO is more likely than the 10 rebounds.

He was ranked just outside the top 100, so I wouldn't say that was that popular of an opinion then.

I think there are a lot of guys at the evaluation process who are being judged on how well they get water for the real potential draftees.

The NCAA can give exceptions. Scott Martin played a year at Purdue, sat a transfer year at Notre Dame, then played two years at Notre Dame before missing a year due to injury. NCAA granted a sixth year.

The catch is that the players don't get to have their own names on the back. They all will simply say "Mr. Glass".

There are 200 minutes available on the court. If you play well enough, you'll get your time. I know we've been playing three guards a ton, but that really has been out of necessity.

I think it's kind of telling that we really haven't heard anything on potential landing spots for Forrester and Moore. Not sure the interest is as high as they thought it would be. Also interested that we haven't heard that Damezi is transferring. If we wants to stay a Hoosier, I'm all good with that. He was very good offensively in high school....I know it didn't show his freshman year and there are defensive issues, but sometimes it does take a while for a player to get in sync with the college game.

And DeVonte WANTS to be the man. He WANTS the ball in his hands at the end of the game. Wish we had more players that did.

I wouldn't read much into All-Star games. During AAU ball last summer, he had 36 assists to 13 turnovers. He played on a very talented DC team and he averaged taking 6 shots/game with 2 1/2 assists. Shot the ball really well -- 49% from the field including 13 of 24 from three.

Robert Johnson was going to Virginia according to 247. The most important movement on players is in the week or so leading up to their announcement. Zion Williamson was going to Kentucky but then the check from Duke cleared.

It's certainly a lot....although not all players in the transfer portal will end up transferring. A lot of kids when there is a coaching change put them name in the portal. I think it would be interesting to check this with the transfer rates of students in general as well as the number of coaches who do not return to their old jobs.

Comical was Nojel Eastern testing teh waters last year. And, for whatever reason, he was much better this year.

My daughter transferred from a school in Missouri to a school in Indiana a couple of years ago. Know why? I'm sure you don't. Because it wasn't plastered on message boards and sports websites. I guess I don't get the criticism of a player transferring if they....gulp....want to. I don't care if it's what someone on the outside looking in considers it to be a 'good reason' or a 'bad reason'. It's a personal reason in all cases and has nothing to do with us....not sure we should have a say because we feel it makes the few hours a week we watch basketball on tv more enjoyable for us.

I think Diallo is still quite a project. But I haven't been as concerned about Ohio State swooping in currently because while we've heard that could be a potential destination for him, I don't think we've heard much any actual expressed interest from them.
