  1. Leland Walker back in the portal. IU had interest last time around. That said, while he's decent defensively and a pass first point guard, his scoring took a plunge last year at FAU.
  2. Is he talking about someone else that entered the portal that could be returning?
  3. Huh....Jayden Quaintance, Arizona State big, enters the portal. McDonald's AA in 2024. 6'9" with a 7'3" wingspan. 9th rated player in the class of 2024. Premier shot blocker, blocked 2.6 shots/game last season. Averaged 9.4 points and 7.9 rebounds. One catch is that he had a season ending ACL injury. Surgery was on March 19th. Expectatations are to be cleared for contact sometime in September and be ready to go in November. Protected lottery pick in the 26, likely would have been one this year prior to the ACL injury.
  4. I agree, but curiousity is getting the best of me in terms of what players I'll be rooting for next year. Bottom line, I am looking forward to a group I can root for. The last couple of years have been painful knowing I was rooting for the IU brand but not the players and coaches that were on the court.
  5. What is funny is that Trey Galloway is an anagram for loyalty wager
  6. I'm ready to root for some new guys. Itching to know who I'll be rooting for. Already got my Tucker DeVries fandom....want some more.
  7. My personal opinion was that I valued Dix over Conwell but also thought we had a better shot at Conwell. Truth is my opinion on both matters means squat and I have no idea who is going to end up where.
  8. Lassina Traore, Xavier. 6'10" center. Missed last year after transferring from Long Beach State due to a knee injury. In 23-24 at Long Beach State he averaged 11.9 points and 10.3 rebounds.
  9. I believe dead period starts tomorrow
  10. Just seems to me it would go back to the old system where whoever is cheating the system most, wins. I have zero faith that this 'board' would be able to control things any better than the NCAA did. As long as NIL is legal, I think you will see lawsuits aplenty if the 'board' stated someone's NIL was out of line. As someone said in the article, a fair market deal is what someone is willing to pay.
  11. Duke Miles, 6'2" guard, Oklahoma. Interesting career. Three years at Troy -- first was in 20-21, so free covid year, third year was injured and redshirted. Moved on to High Point and then last year was at Oklahoma. Shot the ball well at Oklahoma last year. 43% from three and 51% overall. Started all 34 games, averaging 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. The year before playing at Oklahoma averaged 17.5 ppg at High Point. Will be his sixth year next year with two not counting (covid and redshirt years)
  12. Riley Kugel, Miss State. 6'5" SG/SF. Was one of the first players IU pursued in the portal last year when he was transferring from Florida. At Mississippi State last year he averaged 9.3 points, 3 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Plus defender. Shot 43/33/75.
  13. Luckily he wanted to be closer to his family.
  14. If I'm Fluory or his agent, I'm certainly not buying in for 17 mpg. He nearly had that last year and he was behind Dickinson.
  15. Tucker.can.flat.out.play. I have a feeling he will be my from favorite non-TJD player since Ferrell.
  16. Bruce Pearl can guarantee 30 minutes per game. Doesn't mean he has to mean it.
  17. Yes. IU backed off after Ballo signed.
  18. Former Ball State player that transferred to UCF. FWIW, at the time we got Peyton Sparks in the portal I was on record as saying the one that we should have wanted from Ball State was Sellers.
  19. How sad is it that he was more willing to play Goode at the 4 than Mgbako…..and how sad is it that Goode played the 4 better.
  20. For his sake I hope he goes somewhere that encourages him to play defense and avoid off the court issues.
  21. Should have been a stretch 4 in IU’s system. Woody promised him he would be a 3.
  22. And I would just like to hi to Tyme as we know he reads this board and then tweets.
