    A couple of positive developments: after all the evening games finished, IU moved even further. Now 44 on Pom and 52 on Torvik.

    Boise State is also kind of bubblish, aren't they or do you think they need to win the MWC tourney to make it? Anyway, Lunardi has IU as one of the last four byes as of this morning, ahead of five teams (Ohio State, Georgia, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma....he has Boise State, Xavier, UNC, Texas, Wake Forest, SMU, Cincinnati, and Villanova as first eight out).

    IU's NET moved up two spots from 57 to 55. Nebraska dropped three spots from 54 to 57 with their loss to Minnesota.

    That's not a real ringing endorsement.... The fact is that the SMU program under Brown was put on probation and lost nine scholarships over the three years after Brown was fired. NCAA found SMU guilty of academic fraud and 'lack of head coach control'.....all of which resulted in exactly zero tournament wins.

    Exactly how many former GMs do you think college's hire? It's a position new to colleges, not like you pull up some former college GM and bring him in.

    Larry Brown, although it depends on whether you consider his time at SMU a success. He did 71% of his games at SMU but in his four years there he missed the tournament altogether, went to the NIT, lost in the first round of the tournament, and then was ineligible.

    Three technical fouls (one on Wyoming and two on San Diego State) in the span of thirty seconds....all on different plays.

    Basically Woodson is coaching to win games instead of coaching to keep promises he made to players about playing time.

    Then the retirement just turns into firing. I do hope they have a quick trigger finger on muting the mic on senior night if Woodson tries to turn it into a pity or blame party.

    21 would be what he averaged the first three season. Can't really add in the current year until it's done. He also averaged 13.3 losses. He has a 61% winning percentage despite having one of the biggest NIL treasure troves in the game. But self-actualization was never his strong suit.

    IU up to 47 on Pom. Believe they were at 50 after their last game. Move up three spots on Torvik as well to 55. Indiana should move ahead of Nebraska in NET now. Nebraska was at 54 and just took a Q3 home loss to Minnesota while IU had a road Q2 win.

    If IU beats Ohio State -- regardless of what happens against Oregon -- the Hoosiers would be guaranteed to not have to play on Wednesday in the Big Ten Tournament.

    I wouldn't call it a prevent offense because he didn't run time off the clock. We're taking bad shots early in the lcok.

    There is no reason to have Carlyle + two bigs in right now. Get Galloway and Leal back in.

    Good timeout. I realize that Woodson was trying to let Carlyle some confidence and trying the two bigs again, but losing 6 on the lead is time to get the players who got you the lead back in.
