  1. IU was 12-13 versus power 5 (beat South Carolina and providence), 12-14 if you throw in Gonzaga (not a power 5 but definitely a good team).

  3. ESPN stating Willard has taken the Villanova job. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/44463330/maryland-kevin-willard-villanova-head-coach
  4. Don’t think he’s been mentioned, but Magoon Gwath , 7’ , San Diego st freshman is in. 8.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. Great touch for a seven footer, 17 of 45 from three.
  5. Kyan Evans, Colorado State. Three point specialist. Averaged 10.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists. Shot 47/45/85.
  6. That's quite a list for a mid major guy who averaged 9.6 and 6. Did average 10.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in three games against Gonzaga and was only a freshman. Have to assume with that offer list he has a really high ceiling.
  7. Saw him pictured with Michael Lewis and later talking to Adams. Don't see Lewis on the staff considering he's a head coach already.
  8. Dood.....He shot 68.5% as a freshman, 65.5 as a sophomore, 67.4 as a junior and 69.5 as a senior. His career free throw percentage was LOWER than his freshman free throw percentage.
  9. Tweet showed DeVries and Drew Adams talking at the IHSAA state championship game.
  10. That's how you jinx it. Achoki Moikobu should be available now if he is on the new staff.
  11. Unless Florida comes back late, if Texas Tech's Achoki Moikobu is to join IU's staff it is going to have to wait until after the final four.
  12. ? Jackson-Davis averaged 13.5 points and 8.4 rebounds as a freshman and 19.1 points and 9 rebounds as a sophomore.
  13. Sebastian Mack, UCLA. 6'1" guard. 20.9 mpg, 9.6 pts, 2.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists. Shot 43/31/74. In his two seasons at UCLA, averaged 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, shooting 40/30/73. Will have two years of eligibility.
  14. Tre White, 6’7” SF in the portal. 10.5 pts and 5.5 rebounds. Will be 4 teams in 4 years.
  15. Game of two halves in terms of calls. First half, Purdue got every call, second half, Houston got the calls. But man, was that 2.2 second defense as bad as it could be. You HAVE to make Houston make a shot to beat you. Braden Smith was guarding the in bounds throw and ran off that to cut to a player when another Purdue player got lost on a pick. Heide failed to switch to the in bounds man -- again, have to make them make a shot, so you have to switch to the interior man.
  16. I'm not too worried about that. West Virginia was ranked 15th defensively and I wouldn't say that had great defensive talent.
  17. I rewound and it looks like his foot didn't come down first.
  18. Good season Purdue. Could almost say a banner one, but.....you know.
  19. Got a good look for 0.9 seconds, although Cox stepped in bounds on that pass and it wasn't called.
  20. And Houston has a foul to give if they want to use it.
  21. Not a good possession there but they are going to have 2.2 seconds to win it.
  22. Houston can run this down and get the last shot. Important to remember that Purdue does not have any timeouts left either. If you take a shot with say, eight seconds left, it will be hard for Purdue to rebound a miss and get it up court in time.
