    Because of Florida taxes James and Bosh didn't take a pay cut. And the Heat already had a star. How are the celtics to do this without a star

    Looking at the schedule next year we have winnable games if the offense can stay legit. The 3 ooc. Then Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue and Maryland at Home. Rutgers on the road. Need 3 of those 5 or an upset somewhere

    Figured another injury plagued season and he was doomed. Go get your money Howard how about a great Bowl game to go out on a high note.

    4 years is something Wilson can tell recruits with confidence. I bet he gets another extension of we make a bowl game next year as well.

      I really don't get the logic that Wilson is doing alot better than Lynch, he is recruiting better but hes getting about the same wins.  The same results with better players, make a coach better?   That being said you have to give Wilson the extension.  If we make a bowl game next year you give him another moderate extension.

    I know people want a warm weather bowl but I wonder if the cold will help us

    I refuse to take anything away from this game.  Its been this teams style to show flashes of brilliance.  Give me a sustained stretch of ten or so games and I will consider we have turned a corner.  Till then, glad we got the win.

    I really can't imagine anything Crean doing being enough to save his job.  Short of a NC its time for him to go.  He will never give us what we want as fans.  A consistently good product.

    You don't refuse to talk till there's a job opening if you aren't interested. You say not interested. Stevens wants to hear the pitch. Not saying he'd say yes but he's willing to listen.

      It is nobody elses job to hold a player accountable.  As fans we simply can blame players.  But if a player is out of control on or off the court the RCCA has to do more with the coach than the player.  Demanding the player be punished is demanding a symptom be treated versus actually getting rid of the problem, in this case a coach who lets players do whatever they want.

    Isn't the coach the person that's supposed to hold them accountable though?

      I would echo the sentiment that some mods feel that they have a free pass to insult posters

    I agree Brad Stevens is the guy who can return us to prominence we all know it.  Thats why the administration has to do everything to try and get him, and if they fail it has to be public they did everything they could or else whoever they do get will always be "Not Brad Stevens"

      I was under the impression he didn't want to recruit against those other coaches because the Butler Facilities were lacking.  Where as ours are second to none.
