I honestly think this team has regressed from last year.  How I don't know. 

Sampson could coach, he was just unethical

I'll be writing am email tomorrow.  Honestly at this point flooding him email with short emails would probably be more effective though. 

  Why would we do that.  If another school is stupid enough to hire him we barely have to pay him

  Honestly of the non seniors only like 4 I would say need to be kept. 

Fire crean, an interim coach could possibly do something with this roster. 

They are actually trying because if they stand around staring at a loose ball they will get benched. 

Well at least the media is saying what we are.  Maybe somebody will actually listen

I won't criticize the players for not playing D this game.  Every time they have tried they have had a questionable call made against them. 

I'd love to see the total foul disparity in the last 15 years at Duke

Why do we we go up slapping on the rebound.  Just grab the ball, we haven't slapped it to a teammate all game. 

Thats because hes wearing a duke uniform. 

The guys know they actually have to jump for the rebound right?

Duke is outworking us, we have been lucky to have some shots fall.  We need to get the energy level back up to like it was when Troy was in there

  He got plenty of respect until that syracuse debacle that was when people started realizing that Sweet Sixteen was his ceiling and thus not good enough. 

  Yeah upsets usually come down to poor coaching(this is actually why we were able to beat UK in 2011) or players just not being into the game.  Alot of IUs losses have actually been both

  I might buy that except we had a 12 point half time lead.  IIRC we had a ten point lead with 6 minutes left.  Then thanks to some poor substations and standing around clapping instead of coaching Illinois was able to make a comeback.  Now granted I might be mistaking that for one of the other games where Crean just stood around clapping while the opposing team went on a big run.    What good does he have when it comes to player development.  Crean has kicked more people to the curb than he has developed into a quality starter.    Crean treats his players as disposable so I don't understand the fervor to defend him when fans treat him as disposable.

  Yeah while that might even out our record its still 2 knocks on Crean.  His poor management lost us the Illinois game, and he didn't do anything to help win the Michigan game. 

  How does that cancel it out.  It was just yet another game where Crean failed miserably at his job.  In one of them his star player managed to save his butt

If Miller is the best we can get I would take it to see what he could do here.  If he still underachieves so be it, he will need to go.  But he isn't going to set the program back like the Sampson.  Or make it into a joke like Crean and to a lesser extent Davis.   

  I never claimed that.  But one or two defenders especially one on Vics level can change how an entire team plays defense.  Vic could single handedly disrupt an opposing teams Offense.  Not guard all 5 people but screw up what they are doing and shut down their best guy.  And with Cody in the middle we had a strong inside out presence.  Where as now I see neither of those things.    We had talented defenders, but our overall defensive scheme was not inherently good or well coached.
