  1. I doubt it. They didn't take away syracuses
  2. Don't D league players make like 35,000 and travel by bus to crap cities. Yeah no burger boy is choosing that over this or college
  3. Parents who see dollar signs. Not to mention teenagers know everything. Didn't u know
  4.   Idk the revenue will be pretty different.  Salaries will be significantly lower.  Even a team of 15 All Americans would only be 10.5 million.  And realistically its going to be well under 10 million.   And honestly I think this could be very successful, there are no pro teams in Las Vegas and I don't know about semi pro teams so they will start out on top of the sports world in Las Vegas.  And theres a steady flow of people to vegas who want to have a good time and blow money.  You aren't trying to get season ticket holders the same way other teams try, their market will more be the people who come into town for a week and want to see whichever kid is being called the Lebron James play ball for comparatively cheap(When compared to elite college programs and NBA tickets prices)   Not to mention if marketed correctly the teams could make huge amounts of money on their 50 games on the road.    Plus I could see them getting a TV deal for this pretty easily which allows for sponsors.  This is pretty brilliant.  Best of all for them, with catering to 1 and dones a union is likely to never form.    EDIT   Plus I missed the obvious they could sell their streaming package for fans.
  5. I didn't say he had injury problems he had a certain QB that couldn't stop smoking weed long enough to get to the weight room though.    And hate to break it to you guys the fact we didn't have the choice to throw the ball probably just kept our team on the field longer thus saving our defense from giving up even more yards.
  6. Injuries happen in Football. Not sure why wilson gets a pass. Lynch had QB problems also. He didn't get a pass. 1 year with a good offense is not progress it's an outlier.
  7. I do follow the program. And you really need to grab a dictionary and look up progress.
  8. Our SOS was 62nd last year, back from 61 previously.  That was up drastically from 76th the year before that.    But just a comparison of Lynch and Wilson(BTW I was wrong Wilson has played a slightly less laughable schedule than Lynch.  To lazy to dig out just the OoC games, perhaps thats the stat I had heard being easier compared to Lynch)   These are overall ranks of College Football(Didn't want to use raw numbers because changes offenses and defenses and what not   Wilson has had a 7 spot harder schedule than Lynch.  65.75 versus 72.75 Wilson has had a 8.75 spot better offense than Lynch.  63.5 versus 72.25 Lynch has a 23 spot better defense than Wilson.  80 versus 103 Lynch also won 4 more games, 1 more per year.    So its pretty simple if Lynch wasn't good enough, then Wilson is far from good enough.  The one year we had a respectable offense it was at the cost of having the worst defense in Big Ten History.  And Wilson has yet to have a respectable defense to see what that would do to the offense.  Theres no progress when one side of the ball is a complete joke.    Progress is consistently getting better each year.  Psst thats what Lynch did, yet as I already stated thats not good enough.
  9. Lol I'm not trying to discredit him. He's done that his own letting Bill Lynch field consistently better teams. And no a team that tries to outscore it's opponents without offering anything remotely in the defensive category is a gimmick. And just remember our D will still suck but we don't have Coleman anymore. Statistically Wilson's best team has been worse than Lynch's worst. Yeah sorta says it all
  10.   No but I don't think being horrible 4 straight years is indicative of the ability to get it done.
  11. I'm sorry but I don't consider going from the worst of all time to merely bad progress. And our offense has some huge question marks.
  12. Yeah the fact they had some down year perfectly coinciding with the sanctions is just a total coincidence.
  13. You can not count Penn State. They were hardly the traditional Penn State.
  14. Something I literally hear every single year about IU football. Just lol inducing at this point.
  15. Of course the team is trending upwards. The worst team in big ten history doesn't have anywhere else to go. You keep saying this team is making progress but that's the same crap that been getting said every summer. The facts don't back it up. Our defense has sucked all 4 of Wilson's years. You don't get to keep blaming lynch after 4 years.
  16. High profile wins? How many exactly?
  17. What progress.  Easier schedule fewer wins.
  18. Yeah losing to us was the wake up call they needed to get themselves trying again.
  19.   Umm hate to break it to ya but IUs football team was a complete joke they played a cakewalk schedule and still got their asses spanked six ways to sunday.  They gave up over 40 points 6 times last year.  Wilson hasn't built crap in his 4 years.  You say Lynch left him with a gimmick team.  Guess what they were last year and the 3 years prior.  A GIMMICK TEAM.    Just a reference Lynch's last year we allowed 410 yards a game.    Wilsons 4 years 459, 464, 528 and 434.    So you say Lynchs teams sucked because he didn't recruit defense.  So what does that say about Wilson he recruits defensive players and his defenses are even worse.    Just checked Lynchs worst defensive teams had 432 yards per game allowed.  Lynchs worst was better than Wilson best.
  20.   Pretty sure Kevin Wilson presided over the worst defense not only in IU history but Big Ten history.  So not really fair to use Lynch as the measure of badness.  And its IU football any and all estimates should be cut in half.
  21. Pretty sure a defense that couldn't stop the opposing teams band might be one thing but it is a big thing And no we are not the Butler of Football. Butler made to Championship games and consistently upsets the big boys. We have done neither
  22. Lol there is literally no reason to think we are better than 13th. Hell I'm not sure we won't be dead last
  23. Honestly I think 4 of our players are set in stone.   Yogi, JBJ, Troy and Bryant.    I would definitely like to see us try some different lineups.  Those 4 guys and Perea, Hartman and even Holt at the 4.  Or use Troy at the 4 with Robert Johnson at the 2.    Try those out, see what works defensively.    I think this teams greatest strength will  be the different looks that we will be able to do
  24. Pretty sure IU would have to let him.
