  1. Hoosier hookah high jinks IU - 79 Hashville - 63
  2. Yeah, I agree. I read later that he tends to stay in the pocket and take hits. He does seem to throw the ball pretty easily. He played in the small school division of the GCL ( Greater Catholic League), while Ramsey played in the big school division. Kettering Archbishop Alter has strong athletics like most of the Catholic schools in SW Ohio.
  3. Won the Ohio Division III State Championship as a junior at Kettering Archbishop Alter HS. Perhaps Peyton Ramsey 2.0 with better arm strength?? Tore his ACL during his freshman year at Mizzou.
  4. I believe that Ole Miss has also shown interest, besides us. He took an official visit recently, so don't get your hopes up. Read that IU did offer him, as did Ole Miss, Florida and others. He's a hot item in the world of portalmania.
  5. WR Kamryn Perry signs with IU.
  6. Lynch and Jaylin Lucas also. :)
  7. Believe Carter Smith has signed now.
  8. Nope. Sorry, Scott, but you were wrong. :)
  9. Brody Foley...6'6"...230 lbs...Cincinnati Anderson HS
  10. I was speaking about individual defensive assignments only. Should have been clearer about that. I agree that inside we should give them plenty of problems. Kopp seems like a liability on defense against their wing Davis. But my hope is that we are learning as we play each game and that defensively we improve. I also think IU might run a few different players at Davis to keep fresh bodies in front of him. I think we take this game.
  11. Wisconsin is just a bad matchup for IU on paper. We can all see that and we know our history in Madison post BK. I'm hoping that Coach Woodson begins working the officials early and often about Davison and company. And once he's warned... have Fife take over for him.
  12. St. John's trying hard to catch Kansas in the second half. Got down to 3, but now Kansas back up by 8...69-61...9:32 to play. Kansas goes on a 16-2 run over the last 5 minutes.
  13. The simple fact, in my humble opinion, is that we, as fans, don't know what to expect from this team just yet. We have a new head coach, some new assistants, a number of new players who are now getting experience playing with our old players. There's just a great deal of uncertainty right now. Can't get too high or too low this season.
  14. I agree. I simply was pointing out that they appear to have played something less than their best last night. Tarleton gave Michigan a good game also.
  15. Gonzaga struggles with Tarleton tonight...64-55. Game was a one possession game with 5 minutes left. Then the Zags took control. Tarleton's tallest starting player was 6'6". Not great for the Zags resume.
  16. OSU QB Jack Miller??
  17. Man, I'm glad to see someone say that. I know Holmgren is 7' tall, has good maybe great ball skills and can shoot from the perimeter, but the media folks talk like he's the greatest draft pick EVER. Yeah, he's going to get drafted, but he's not going to play much right away. Not with his body. JMHO
  18. I'm thinking that the game at Syracuse will be quite difficult. We aren't a great shooting team and that place can be problematic even for teams who are good shooters. The Syracuse zone defense does look average or worse, which the coaching staff should find exploitable. Close win for IU.
  19. Not that it means squat, but Lunardi has IU as a 7 seed, up from an 8, and no longer has Syracuse in his bracket. They were earlier listed as a 9 seed against our 8. We need better shooters and more of them. This coaching staff will get us there. I have no doubts.
