Probably...you know how bears are. :)) Bob's nervous about the entire college football situation and realignment etc etc. He's afraid that basketball is going to suffer in the disbursement of money. The article was on ESPN....written by Myron Medcalf.

If you were able to read the story, then you saw that Chris Beard agrees with you. His quote was basically, "If it ain't broke then don't fix it."

Bob Huggins wants the major conferences to dump ncaa tourney and start their own post season tournament. This is per an article on ESPN. It's all about money and having some control versus football.

A 57 second video is nothing upon which to make judgement or pronouncements...and I stand by our coaching staff here. But that young man needs to eat and eat and eat some more. As a freshman, I saw him listed as 6'8" and 165 lbs. Now he's a sophomore and 6'9" and 170 lbs...man, he's thin. Plenty of time to fill out, so I'm leaving it at that. Going to see if I can find more video of him.

And turn off that God awful music! And you can stop burning your f-ing fire pit too!

Or 71.

More than likely. I will be surprised if we win another game, in all honesty.

What about McCulley?? Wasn't he supposed to replace Penix eventually?? He was a highly rated Indiana high school recruit... right??
-
I'm sticking with 4-8. We have a very poor offense. Just don't have enough quality players.
-
Corso and Burt attended FSU. I'm sure you fat fingered that typo. :)

Unfortunately, I agree with you. Last season IU caught people by surprise and benefited greatly from zero fan attendance, IMHO. I doubt that we'll make a bowl game this season. All the BIG teams we beat last year are going to want to put IU back in place...at the bottom of the BIG. We haven't fully turned the corner yet, as a football program.

4-8 unfortunately.

Favorite All-Time Hoosier Basketball Player

Pretty easy for me. Out of all the great players to pass through IU, THE first player to capture my imagination as a kid was The Splendid Splinter...Jimmy Rayl. :) -
USC Stephen Carr to transfer to IU
rayl456 replied to southsidehoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
But if the O-Line stinks, which they did today, then you will see us struggle... like we did today. I believe a change in the O-line coach is likely to happen if this continues. -
(2022) RB Gi'Bran Payne to INDIANA
rayl456 replied to Lebowski's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
IMG Academy destroyed G.Payne's LaSalle last night , 58-7. LaSalle had 65 yds of offense. IMG had over 480 yds of offense. -
LOL....tell me about it!!

USC Stephen Carr to transfer to IU
rayl456 replied to southsidehoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
This young man needs a big year to make the NFL take notice. IU could REALLY use a big season out of the running back position. Michael Penix will have a big year if Carr does...and the team will too. I believe it will all happen as the IU football transformation continues. Go Hoosiers! :) -
(2022) DL/DE Joe Strickland

HSN post says he's announcing this Thursday. -
Just curious... What does Coach Woodson have to accomplish in order to be successful in your eyes and how quickly? Or am I missing your point and you just feel he need to do a better job selling himself, the program and IU?
-
Never said it was a rebuild. I was simply responding to what Texas/Beard has done per USPSHoosier in the recruiting area. Woodson has been fine, but some folks are nervous that recruits like Taylor, Filipowski and others aren't jumping at IU offers. I think once IU begins winning those recruits will consider us more seriously. And yes, I think getting that kind of serious consideration from recruits might take more than one winning season. JMHO....and I think Coach Woodson has plenty of time to achieve this.
