  1. Someone needs to ask Quinn Buckner if he’s seen enough yet.
  2. The SEC needs to add two more schools. Then have each SEC school play one of the BIG10 schools in a conference challenge just like we see/have seen during basketball season, but not specifically with the SEC. Then you REALLY have some comparative discussion material.
  3. It’s f-ing Tommy Tuberville…so what did you expect. He’s a worthless political tool.
  4. So, we’re not a brand…BUT, we’re one of the biggest stories, if not THE biggest story, of this season. I believe the tv folks might like that over another SEC school. I know about the relationship between ESPN and the SEC, but who knows what the committee thinks about the Cignetti/IU story. Maybe it means nothing…but who knows.
  5. I have no reason to get too high…or too low. Next play…next game…whatever the outcome. LFG!!
  6. He’s said he would like to coach ten more years and believes that he can do it. I have seen nothing to suggest that he can’t and won’t. LFG! Thanks, Coach C. :)
  7. Duke up 46-37 at halftime.
  8. I like to think that Coach Cignetti is to IU what Barry Alvarez was to UW.
  9. Totally agree. Mostly curious versus concerned.
  10. Wondering how Ellison and Price are physically. Ellison came back, but…hmmm? Ke’Shawn Williams played a great game and helped with Price’s absence big time.
  11. GT up 28-16…13 min left in the game
  12. GT scores…now up 21-10 over Miami with 6min to go third quarter.
  13. Guy on HSN, DC2345, posted that IU has passed on Lewis. Not sure who his source is as he’s just a regular member of the site. Don’t kill the messenger. :)
  14. I can’t be annoyed because we, IU…the Indiana Hoosiers, are going to be IN the conversation. And I know that annoys so many OSU and Michigan fans as well as other programs who have huge football egos. I’m just going to smile and gloat. :)))
  15. He was a Cincinnati guy who played his high school football at Colerain HS on the northwest side of the city. He also played basketball, baseball and track. RIP
  16. I’m so happy to be alive to witness this season. I am old enough to remember 1967 and the tremendous excitement and joy of people following that team. I was even fortunate enough to see IU’s game against Iowa…a victory with a score in the last three minutes or something like that. Watching Harry Gonso throw a terrific pass to Jade Butcher during the last touchdown drive. That team, like this one, surprised many opponents, but won a lot of close games. They benefited from a favorable schedule of not having to play either OSU or Michigan, which allowed them to tie for the BIG10 championship. This is a tremendous moment for IU football folks…and I know most of you know that….but just the same, take it in and savor it. And let’s keep supporting this team, the coaches, but especially the HC. He’s a winner and I believe he’ll stay with the right support and respect for this program. Go Hoosiers!
  17. Fernando Valenzuela passes away at 63. RIP Came up in 1981 and both won ROY and the Cy Young
  18. Totally agree.
  19. And I believe that he’s getting MUCH better coaching from this staff.
  20. And maybe EVERYONE steps up…not just TJ…but the entire offense, the entire defense, special teams…and the coaches. That’s what we need…and what Coach Cignetti will demand. And while we may not score 48 points per game…we’ll score enough to win. LFG! Go Hoosiers!
