#6 is what struck me the most when I watched.

Or you could substitute hoping for guessing. I don’t see what he really adds, but I admit that I’m biased. But if Coach DeVries thinks he’s worth another year, so be it. :)

Love seeing IU continue to target qbs for the future. GO HOOSIERS!

Well, it’s bound to happen sometime and if it does so be it. Speaks to the quality of IU fb recruits now versus years gone by. I dare say IU has pulled some recruits away and will continue to do so as long as Coach Cignetti and staff are here. :)

Sounds like this young man plays modern game basketball with lots of drive and kick out passes from Coach DeVries description.

Great news! Happy for Coach C, but REALLY happy for the players! Going to be a great many sellouts next season. Go Hoosiers!! :))

This young man has really nice bb skills and moves well too for his size. No idea of IU’s chances, but he would be a very nice addition either this year or next. Let’s hope that he likes what he hears, sees…and what IU can offer $$$ NIL.

    Thanks, Lebowski.

I think you may be thinking of Father Guido Sarducci. lol. :)

He impressed me with his 3pt shooting in the one video that I viewed. But the overall impression I had was that the defense being played by the opponent was fairly weak. But what do I know as your basic fan. JMHO. LOL. :)

Looks quite athletic in the basketball video…spin moves and dunks.

“See the young girl run…watch the young girl runnin’ …she’ll be runnin’ against the wind.” Gotta love classic Seger. :))
  14. rayl456
Does that happen frequently? I’m a box of rocks when it comes to these things. LOL. :)))

I’m all for big guards. I remember Bobby Wilkerson at 6-6 or 6-7 jumping center instead of Kent Benson on the ‘76 team. Yeah, give me tall, athletic…big guards. :))

He is a load. Painter’s kind of big man. Kid has decent skills. Can DeVries and staff sell him on IU…or maybe I should say buy him?
  17. rayl456
This kid is like Mellencamp’s line from his song “Cherry Bomb”… ”We were young and we were improvin’ “.

This HC and his staff are making a mockery of the previous regime. It’s great to see IU involved with so many top players from the hs ranks. Nothing but positive energy from this staff. Bunch of workaholics. Love it! :)

And Lebowski…thanks as always for keeping all of us updated on what’s happening with fb recruiting. That goes for everyone who brings updates. Thanks to all of you!

DUH…What was I thinking?! LOL. Maybe I’ve normalized NIL to the point of not even considering it with these kids. LOL. :)))

So many factors in the kid’s decision and what’s most important. Does he want to be part of something new and exciting in his home state? Or is the lure of big time tradition like OSU and Michigan carry more weight? Ofc, who in his mind is going to put him in the best position for his personal development and success in the end will likely be the winner. Go Hoosiers!!

Good to see that the staff is keeping in touch with the younger guys. They certainly seem to be working hard…which is what they’re being paid to do. And our HC is right there leading the way.

I hate seeing Siakam and Toppin handling the ball.
  24. rayl456
Just keep working the south…Georgia, Florida, S. Carolina. There are plenty of kids who are 3* that want a chance to play…not just fill a roster and sit. Get them to B-ton and let Coach talk to them. Go Hoosiers!

Let’s keep bringing in these big boys! We need an offensive line that pushes EVERYONE around. I mean OSU, Michigan, USC…and especially Turdue. POTFB everyday!
