Not a huge surprise... there were reports that his dad was "shopping" him around towards the end of the season... they were not happy with Woodson and junior's playing time, and I don't think he played at all after the MSU or UCLA games...

If that's true, what does that say about Hoiberg? He beat Woodson like a drum over and over and over again.

360º would be exactly the same (turning all the way around)... 180º would be the exact opposite (turning half-way around)...

Nature abhors a vacuum... when there's a lack of information, people tend to fill the void with whatever they can glean from hints, hearsay and rumors... and when our recent (past 10-12 years) hires are as underwhelming as they have been, the expectations tend to trend negative... the "we can't have nice things" meme grows legs and we spin... This is where we need a dose of positivity and hope. Keep the faith!

Probably depends on a couple of things: (1) does the new coach want them to stay; (2) will they still want to stay if their NIL changes; (3) could they get paid better elsewhere... I suspect that all will at least enter the portal to test interest

Where is Woodson coaching next year? Haven't heard that he is...

They are now, but not so much previously when there was no playoff or when the playoff was only 4 teams.

It's also not without precedence in basketball... the one that comes to mind is Bill Frieder at Michigan... he announced that he was moving to Arizona State and Bo Schembeckler sent him packing... Steve Fischer won the NCAA Tournament that year and became the only coach to win the NCAA and be undefeated for his career. (at least until the next season began).

My personal take is that he's a troll, but y'all keep feeding him... just ignore him if he bothers you. He will either be right or wrong... if he's wrong, he's just your run-of-the-mill, garden variety troll... but if he's right, he may well become a folk hero... we will know fore sure in a week or two... until then, he's just IsaacTor, with troll-ish behavior.
