The problem with wanting to do it is that it requires effort. Woodson had to be told to go watch Mullins in a sectional game. Woodson wanted the job, but had no interest in doing the job. You will never convince me otherwise. He was all in to coaching by osmosis.

And we all know, according to the king, 21 wins is enough...

Bloomington and Des Moines are 500 miles apart and both in the midwestern farm belt... not that different, actually... Iowa City is only about 400 miles from Btown.

Then you haven't been paying attention... he's been mentioned off and on throughout the thread...

With literally none of the talent level that Woodson had...

I've been on the DeVries bandwagon for a while... as a solid guy with a huge upside... I wasn't ready to "settle" for him at IU yet... and have been pretty warm to McCollum if none of the "big fish" are biting... Between the two, I'd prefer McCollum, but I think DeVries would do well here with the NIL and the fan base.

Losing parents is rough...My dad's been gone 15 years on Wednesday... Praying for you, your wife and your family... at 93 he's had a good long life, but it doesn't make it any easier... and dementia is such a horrible disease...

I get it... after all day, I'm still almost 30 pages behind... and just not as into catching up and looking at every post to do so... With that said, there are a handful of folks that I enjoy interacting with, a bunch that I don't and the rest are pretty "meh"... I'm sure there are plenty here who feel the same way about me and my posts... Let's get us a coach and reclaim our blue blood status...

Dolson hired Matta to HELP Buckner's boy... but Woodson wasn't having any part of it. And yes, this hire will be "ALL SCOTTY D".

Not a huge surprise... there were reports that his dad was "shopping" him around towards the end of the season... they were not happy with Woodson and junior's playing time, and I don't think he played at all after the MSU or UCLA games...
