    That's it. After picking AZ to win it all last year, and make the Elite 8 this year, I'll never pick them again. Lloyd is about to have the same complaints about his failures in March as Sean Miller did.

    Seems that Purdue is getting the least amount of respect I've ever seen a 1 seed get. Watch them use it as bulletin board material and make the Final 4 now.

    Our primary need after last season was shooting, primarily from the outside. He wouldn't have fixed that. He had roughly 22% 3P% at Kentucky. I'm not sure whose minutes he would have taken here.

    Seems that Gard may not be popular among players. I remember the story that came out a year or 2 ago where this was an issue. Maybe it went away because winning cures everything, well now they stopped winning.

    I can't believe I have to wait until late Friday night. I'm so ready for the game to start. Feels good to be this excited about this week again!

    I'm thinking we'll start hot, go through a 5 minute scoreless drought and see our lead evaporate, then step on the gas and never let up through the 2nd half. Let's do this!

    Last time we went to a Final 4 we took down Kent State in the tournament. Hopefully that's a sign!

    Tough 2nd round draw for Purdue.

    I'll take the draw, glad we don't have to face Pitino's Iona as the 4th seed UCONN does. Miami scares me.

    I hope we don't draw Kent State in our 1st round matchup. We're clearly better, although they have a solid team that's only lost once since February 3. Sincere Caray is a dude who can play and won't be afraid of anyone.

    Don't want to dig a huge hole against a team that can easily thwart a run with a made 3.

    I hate this game already. Penn State is the kind of team that you can be up by 7 against and all of a sudden they go on a 10-0 run due to their 3 pt shooting. We could get blown out if we aren't careful.

    Impressive company for sure, but I so badly want TJD to be remembered as fondly as those guys, and he can do that by a deep tournament run.

    Only way he comes back is if we're one and done in the tournament, and he plays awful. I think he's gone though, and I kind of want him to go. To recruit at an elite level, we need a 1 and done at least every few years to keep talent coming here. 5 star guys pay attention to that. We need guys in the league that wore an IU jersey at one time.

    I would love to see a neutral court matchup between IU/PU. Has that ever happened? Closest thing I can remember is the Crossroads Classic when hoards of both team's fans were in the building rooting against the other team, but obviously we never played each other. That atmosphere would be electric.

    It's like making the argument Christmas Eve is better than Christmas Day. Both are great, but this weekend takes the cake because of the magic next week will bring.
