Oregon should be top 5 IMO, and someone needs to explain Michigan at #11 to me. Penn State that high makes no sense to me either but they will have some talent.

The "playing on Miami's home field" is overblown IMO. It's really only an advantage in logistics since they don't have to travel. Imagine playing a home game when you have to use the visitor's locker room, one end zone is painted in the other team's colors, and half the fans in the stadium aren't wearing your colors and cheering against you. That would get in your head as a "home" team.

Anecdotal evidence from south Florida people on Rivals is it's roughly 20-1 IU fans to Miami fans in Miami right now. We'll see how that translates to game attendance, but man I love first hand accounts of us taking over a city. Our massive fan base has been waiting so long for a freaking WINNER.

That may be true about the Fanduel app, but come on. If you found out your wife has a dating app on her phone, you probably wouldn't buy the excuse of "I'm not dating, just curious what single people are out there". No one will ever be able to take the joy out of following the constantly evolving narratives over the course of the 2025 season. They haven't beaten anyone! The Big Ten is weak! It's a down year in college football! They're just running up the score in garbage time! They're so old they shouldn't even be playing against college kids! They're cheating! No, they would get destroyed by the 2019 LSU team! People just simply cannot comprehend IU is a great college football team.

There is some pretty nice officially licensed apparel on the IU Team Store that's dropped recently but my goodness is it expensive. If I'm dropping this much money for me and the kids I suppose I might as well just go to the game.

Honestly something about that blocked punt in the 2nd half caught my eye, there might be legs to this. It's almost like we KNEW Oregon was trying to punt on that play.

Seriously, but it's hilarious to watch the narrative shift as the season progresses from "IU isn't actually good", "hasn't beaten anyone", to "they're only good because their roster's average age is older than the Green Bay Packers". 5th year seniors have always been a thing. The Covid year is gone. If player age was the end all be all, why hasn't BYU won anything at all the past 20 years? If people can't appreciate the genius and mastery of Cignetti yet then they're just jealous how easy he's making it look.
