I saw Rawle riding around with Coach Martin at HH. I've seen lots of videos of him playing. He looks to be a great pickup!

if we could get a package deal of THON and him....um..
 
But, we know how ineffective package deals are.

It was already mentioned in the 3rd post of the thread.

My brother lives in Louisville and is a UofL fan.  I called him earlier today to just get it out of the way.  I was conceding that we had no chance, but secretly using the Bear Bryant approach that "my poor little boys can't compete with those big guys from UofL."  He wasn't all that confident, worried about our 3 point shooting.  I hope he's right and we are able to stay with them.  GO HOOSIERS!

Agree Emerson and WayneFleck----sometimes who is not coming can tell as much of a story as who is coming!
 
I also am hoping that while we sit here and fret over recruiting that Crean already has a good idea or even already has it locked down.

Great size for a wing type player with perimeter skills. If he is our backup plan for Shake, I'm perfectly fine with that.

Like many others, I'd like to have an opening for my pipe dream of Maker, Bryant, or Zimmerman.

I watched the Canadian games  and  saw several instance's where the break wasn't there and they actually made several passes till they got the open look.That to me was very encouraging.
I just wish they would loose the play where the lead guard penetrates, flies thru the air and passes to someone in the corner who may or may not  be there.It drives me insane.

In other news-----I still like OG and he still reminds me of Vic!

Duh---go back and read my posts before you start attacking. That was me that called him Oladipo 2.0----but I specifically said that because he reminded me of Vic when Vic was in high school.  Everybody knows he's not Vic yet.  But last time I checked this is a message board for opinions and my opinion is he reminds we of Vic.  So---shoot me already!  Sheesh!  

Troy just needs to make sure he puts the ball on the floor first. Too many walks last year by taking a first step before dribbling. Seemed to get better with this later in the season. Sorry Hothoosiermom, just some constructive criticism.

I understand what you are getting at, but I dont see it happening. Look at someone like Jurkin, when it came down to it he transfered cause he wanted to play. All thr transfers we had last year transfered to smaller schools just to play. When it comes down to it kids worry more about playing than their education. They want to play! So it doesn't make sense that they would transfer and fake an injury just for educational purposes.

Plus I think it would be too hard to fake an injury when they have world class doctors and medical staff checking up on the players, doing x rays, scans, etc.
