Not everyone needs to gives excuses. IU as a program will figure it out or they won’t. Either way I will be watching regardless. I will let other people other than me worry about the other stuff like optics of where IU stands in the pecking order or how much money they have. November can’t get here fast enough.

Optics on how IU looks to the rest of college basketball. Some are more worried about the optics of IU as a program then they are about the actual results it seems like to me. Also some was wanting IU to enter the up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A start cheat code to erase 25 years of mediocrity and IU enter the top of the sport again magically with NIL

Nah I would rather step foot I. Assembly Hall any chance I get. HH was a chance for many families to take their whole family into the building for free and take in the atmosphere when they might not have the financial means to take their family to an actual game. I will still take my family to a game but I have no interest in watching something outside on a Thursday night from 8-10 when I got to work the next morning and my kids have school in the morning. It’s Torvik talent rating that has IU next to last in the B1G ……. and Penn St top 6 in the B1G. lol. People can doom and gloom all they want or they can pump pump pumpity that sunshine all they want but torvik posting a talent rating graphic isn’t going to make any difference. My guess is after the season starts that graphic won’t be seen again. National guys like Bossi saying it’s IU and Kansas out front with Kentucky trying to get in the main group. Kansas is in on a bunch of other high ranked centers so if they take one of the other centers they won’t take Taylor

They will go by overall record and then tiebreakers. I’m guessing like they do for AAU events. Treat the first 2 games like pool play games and then go by overall record and tiebreakers
