  1. Friday will be a little appetizer of exhibition games to get you ready for Nov 3rd Purdue/Kentucky- sec network 6 pm Virginia/Nova- espn+ 7 Cincy/Arkansas- espn + 8 North Carolina/Byu- espn + 8 Kansas st/ Missouri- sec network 10
  2. Only an exhibition but Penn St looks like they are going to struggle this year
  3. Penn St/Dayton just started for your Sunday exhibition fix
  4. Lol. I’m watching the old vet as we speak. Playing in the exhibition game usc/LMU
  5. St. John’s ended up winning by 10. Arizona/ St Mary’s is about to start
  6. Towson/St John’s on espn +. Towson up 10 with 1:50 to go in the half
  7. They were down 20 at half
  8. Definitely a shot but Ohio State is going to fight for the hometown kid. Sounds like they are offering 3 mil now according to Trilly. Although Tiptons headline said IU was trending yesterday if you read the article he basically said it’s a coin flip
  9. For reference Duke, Kansas and Kentuckys 13th rated commit in the 247 era would all be higher or even with IUs highest rated commit (Romeo). I get people wanted to compare IU to these 3 but they are not in the same stratosphere. Recruiting wise IU has never been near these programs on a national level. IU has competed with them every once in the rankings nationally when a bunch of home grown kids were highly ranked.
  10. If Thompson commits to IU he will be the 2nd highest ranked player IU have in their program in the 247 rankings era. He is 7th. Romeo would be the other recruit ranked higher than him. If the staff lands him that a massive win for the program. If Branham stays at 33 (sounds like his stock his only going up)he would be the 13th highest rated recruit in the 247 era
  11. No need to do that. You have said that for the last 10 + years but here you are with the same high standard even after a decade or crap. We all want the same thing for IU to be at the top and looked at by the college basketball world as being on top and competing every year. Regardless of what Dolson said or what nil and history advantage IU had or has this program is going to have grind to get back to where the fans want them to be. My thing is I have no problem with high standards or expectations however saying a coach or program is spiraling downward before the coach has even coached 1 game or has had time to complete 1 recruiting cycle seems a bit much. At least let the guy coach 1 game or complete a cycle before we call it a failure. Just my opinion though
  12. Yep it is what it is. He took over a mid tier (on the court results) B1G program working on its 4 coach in 10 years that fired the previous 3 for on court results. He has been coach for 7 months and is getting hammered by some for lack of winning games when he hasn’t even coached a game yet and getting hammered for recruiting results in 7 months when his first full recruiting cycle hasn’t even happened yet. It is what it is some people are more worried about optics then actual results. Program is going to have to grind to get viewed as a top player again in college basketball. Until then the optics of this program will be of a program that has lost 9 out of its last 11 to a program like Rutgers
  13. Oklahoma st by 2. Nice game even if it doesn’t count
  14. Delivering on a Wednesday. Heading to OT. Nov 3rd can’t get here soon enough. Freeman for Auburn looks legit. Nice scout by the new staff on evaluating talent. Would of been a nice pickup
  15. Exhibition game
  16. Randy Bennett but his resources at St Mary’s compared to what Franklin got at Penn St are not comparable
  17. Brad Brownwell but probably not enough ncaa tourney appearances
  18. Depends who you talked to. Having high expectations with a coach that had 0 college basketball coaching experience before he stepped foot on campus would be a major risk in a lot of people’s opinion even with top 10 resources. Not sure the optics of the national media and other coaches in the college basketball world had high expectations for IU. Other coaches were pleading for IU to keep him as long as possible. Izzo comes to mind fighting for Woody to stay. Wonder why
