  1. Sorry to hear about Pinson.   Maybe it's the norm---but it seems there are more injuries this year than usual---especially in the Big Ten.
  2. Good analysis Kepner---we have the best situation to offer Bryant---as long as everyone comes back.
  3. Looking forward to the Iowa---Purdue game.   I really don't care who wins---just glad that one of them is about to get another loss!
  4. Thanks for the guide WayneFleek----tomorrow looks like another fun day of college basketball!   Go South Carolina!
  5. I hope Bryant was watching that one on TV!
  6. Ladies are playing well---just can't get over the hump to get the W!   Keep working....
  7. Best win of the night-----#23 Indiana over #13 Maryland-----89---70! :good:   Our Hoosiers shoot 60% for the game---- including 68% from three point range for the game against the best defensive team in the Big Ten!   Also shot 78% from the free throw line ---and outrebounded the Terps 27-24.   Also we only had 10 turnovers.   Great win!
  8. #7 Arizona beat Stanford 89--82.   DePaul with the upset-----beat #24 Seton Hall 64-60.   DePaul's first win over a ranked team in years---but as we have discussed on here previously---I think Seton Hall is overrated and should not have been ranked to begin with.   Sorry to burst your bubble---DePaul.
  9. The Zags continue to feast on weak west coast competition.   #3 Gonzaga beat St. Mary's tonight 68--47.   St. Mary's is the 2nd best team in the Zags' league---so Gonzaga probably won't lose again until the tournament.   Their lack of competiton will hurt them----as good as they are---I see them knocked out about sweet 16.
  10. #2 Virginia over Georgia Tech-----57--28.   We discussed this earlier-----impressive feat to hold a power conference team down that low.   Virginia is for real---but their offense is not that impressive to me---I predict they will get their first loss soon.
  11. Notre Dame continues to impress.   The 8th ranked Irish beat terrible Va. Tech----85-60.   It would be a fun game to watch IU and ND play this year---maybe we will see it in the tourney.
  12. Final----OSU holds on 69 to 67 over Northwestern.   All the buzz was about Russell's 33 point--7 reb---6asst---game for OSU.   I would love to go into Columbus and give the Buckeyes--Blackeyes---in the form of an IU win and a Bucky loss.
  13.   Sad---I didn't realize HT was an NAIA team!     So impressive----Baylor!
  14.   Wow---Virginia can play the D.   It's not like Georgia Tech is some cupcake.
  15. Soooo---Hoosier Nation-----sorry I did not get back to this thread sooner after the game.  I was relaxing and enjoying a nice hot cup of steaming TURTLE SOUP!    Turtle soup all around tonight!   Good times!
  16. Queen O---I am pleased to announce that Operation Turtle Soup was executed to perfection by La Commandant Shake and the IU/Francais Land Hoosiers!   Let's enjoy this one for 24 hours and then get ready for Bucky II.
  17. I would feel better with news of a surprise unofficial visit to IU in the next few weeks.
  18. Let's hope Bryant is on the up and up!   I keep checking this thread waiting for a shred of good news!   Still waiting.
  19. Leron Black at Illinois with a good night-----15 points and 13 rebounds.
  20. It's time to trap some turtles and make Melo---Tremble!   While we and 17,000 of our closest friends sit back and enjoy the show!
  21.   IT IS NOW!   La Commandant Shake---lead the troops to victory!
  22. Hope the turtles run their SLOW motion offense! :ninja:
  23. Wow---but did you see his competition?   Baylor beat Huston-Tillotson 81--61.   Gathers with 25 points and 28 rebounds.   Fields with HT had 27 points.   Who is Huston--Tillotson???
  24. Finals---#15 UNC 87----Wake Forest 71----Heels are playing better now.   #12 Utah 86---Washington State 64.   #14 Wichita State 76---Miss State 53----Shockers still unbeaten in MVC at 7-0.
  25. Of local interest---Indiana State drops a close one to Northern Iowa 66-60.   NI is having a great year---17-2 overall and 6-1 in the MVC.   AE's little brother----Alex Etherington had 2 points for ISU.
