Thanks, Kentucky for revealing yourself

Wow---after IU's last National Championship, Keith Smart and Dean Garrett GAVE my little brother a pair of their game worn shoes for free when he came to visit me at IU. IMO--just shows the difference in character and programs. -
(2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU

Congrats TB! Solid night. MVP of the winning team. 19 points and 6 rebounds. 8 of 13 shooting including 3 of 6 from 3 point range! Can't wait to see you bring it in The Hall! -

Correction: The Louisville station I watched the game on had it wrong. Bryant actually was the MVP and OG was the fan favorite of the over 5000 in attendance. Great to see two IU/Francais--ers take home top honors! The future is bright. Viva La Francais! Viva La IU! -

I will stick with my previously posted 5 starters and I prefer Bryant playing the traditional 5 spot but I have to admit I was surprised he looked so comfortable going out and shooting the three in the Derby Classic. We need him underneath and to be a rim protector and rebounder on D---but he might be able to add to our offensive ability to stretch the D if he can consistently shoot from distance. Just a part of his game I was not aware of and a pleasant surprise. -

Future IU/Francais Land-ers Thomas Bryant and OG and Morgan put it on the future UL stars in the Derby Classic. Bryant took home the fan favorite award. Hopefully a sign of things to come......Queen O had tears in her eyes because she hasn't seen a dominant big man like Bryant come fight for her country since the valiant King Cody patrolled the paint 3 years ago. Put away the guillotines and firing squads!French fries all around tonight Hoosier Nation. Hopefully the first of many! -

I agree. I watched the high school tournament games and thought TB did a good job of not forcing things and passing out to shooters. I get excited about the prospect of teams having to try to guard him one on one in the post because they can't lay off our shooters. If Troy stays and develops a 3 point shot--look out! -

We shall see. I hope there is already a plan in place we don't know about such as a Z3 walk-on or someone leaving on their own that Crean already knows about. I don't like all the transfers and I don't like people being forced out. I like player development and experience. -

I would go Yogi--JBJ---Troy---TBry---Hartman. That final spot with Hartman is the close call but I love the hustle and energy he brings plus he gives us some rebounding and that 3rd three point shooter to space the floor. RoJo is my 6th man. Against a big team if things aren't going well---replace Hartman with Holt/Perea Against a quick team if things aren't going well---replace Hartman with RoJo Bring in Z3 ANY time we need something from distance! Sprinkle in DD, OG, and Juwan Hope April and Priller continue developing -

After Crean's latest comments, I do too. But if there is one thing we have learned about DD is that he exceeds expectations and he is truly one tough guy. If anyone can do it---he can. I would love to see him back on the court at full strength. What a story that will be for next year's final four (wishful thinking)! -

Welcome aboard TB! We look forward to watching you patrol and protect the paint! Your presence alone upgrades our defense some and your leadership is much needed. You are going to have a blast being surrounded by three point shooters to kick out to and to open the middle for your thunder dunks. Hoosier Nation awaits and the season can't get here soon enough! -
Probably! Just please don't let it be the Pacers!

Yes---it will be difficult shooting 3 pointers in those full-body hazmat suits! -
My guess is because of his name and lofty rankings---Harrell gets a shot at the NBA---but doesn't stick and then goes the D-league and overseas route.

Virginia held on over Virginia Tech---50-47. Hmm. Virginia Tech hasn't even won a game in league. I'm guessing the intensity generated by a same state rivalry game was the reason. Kind of like us and Purdue.

Nice----I like the way Butler plays----and I would hope that Seton Hall is no longer ranked after being a favorite of the pollsters for weeks.

We had a slight setback in Columbus! Our trebuchets were woking fine----but their deux-layups were working even better, We could not hold our lines and they ran right through us. Retreat---troop movement back to Indiana---destination West Lafayette---nose clips required! -
Sounds like it was a good game! Coach K gets his 1000th win-----and gives our Coach K (Knight) some credit! Classy move by Coach K----and he's right.

Michigan let us down. FINAL--Wiscy 69---Mich 64.
-
WayneFleek---I leave it to you for awhile. All this binge-posting is getting to my eyes! Soldier on! :ninja:

Nebraska is playing well. There is a reason they were predicted to be a top 3 team coming into the Big Ten by many prognosticators! And---I still think MSU will turn it on late in the season as usual too.

Thanks! Got my "I" teams switched !

I like the plan Shake! Captain Collin Chitwood will lead the charge! Viva La Francais---Viva La IU! -
Final---Minnesota 79---Illinois 71. Minnesota looked a lot better today. Illinois looks like a different team on the road. Life in the Big Ten on the road is tough.
-
Minnesota putting it on Illinois in The Barn. The theme of the year seems to be everybody beating up on everybody in the Big Ten. Score right now---Minnesota 66 --- Illinois 54---3 minutes left.
-
Final---Kansas 75---Texas 62---rock--chawk--Jayhawk! Final----UNC 74--FSU 69-----closer than I expected as UNC has been playing well lately.
