If college basketball programs were countries
rebelhoosier848891 replied to Magnanimous's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Keep probing Alaska! You always come up with the best game plans! Might I suggest picking them up full court the minute they get off their bus and stick to them like gum until they get back on it! -

So true. Davis is great and all---but he's no MSB! :ninja: -

The kingdom sends its best wishes for a speedy recovery my lady. His health may be "questionable", but his love for IU/Francaisland is "UNquestionable"! Did he strain his left foot on that game winning shot? -

We do need a volunteer medic in IU/Francaisland. Both King Zeller and Prince Oladipo have spent some time in the infirmary the last few days. King Cody suffered a left ankle sprain on the battlefield versus the Knicks and Prince Oladipo left last night's game with a possible concussion. Does Queen O or anyone else have any updates? Did they get back on the battlefield tonight? -

Rounding out the '16 class...
rebelhoosier848891 replied to hoosierpap's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Great analysis Hoosierpap---I want Alkins but I will be pleased if we get one of Alkins or Brown. The rest will take care of itself. You know Crean won't save a scholarship so watch out for a diamond in the rough. As long as it's like OG---I will be fine with that too. Are there any other small forwards we are looking at to replace Troy because I agree he is off to the pros after this season! -

In the words of Donald Trump---this is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE! Love the frontcourt options with Davis and the returning players. I suspect we add one more----Can you imagine if Thon says yes???? -

Rawle---we will make room for you---like right now! Hope the work Crean and staff put in with him and continues to put in with him makes a difference in the end. -

Not trying to start anything but Coach Crean and the staff deserves a lot of credit for putting in the work and the time here. It paid off! Good to see us get some return on the large recruiting budget! -

Davis is the ONE many of us felt we had to get to cement a solid recruiting class. Now we can work on moving the class from very good to stinkin" awesome! The thoughts of him teaming up with a sophomore Bryant on the front line=PUNISHING! Purdue will soon be getting some of their own medicine. -

Well done good and faithful servant Royal Fart---please give a full report on how the trip went. Did you encounter any resistance from the MSU faithful? The Queen will be quite pleased. One day on the job and you have already achieved a major recruiting coup! A dinner at the palace will be held in your honor and you probably just bought Crown Prince Crean a little breathing room by adding another skilled weapon to his military arsenal! Davis is going to look great in de candy stripes--Oui! Oui! -

Royal Knight Old Fart--you better just get the Davis commit today so we don't have to worry about Queen O's next move! She's very fair ---but she is very demanding! -

We really need Davis. Kegler would have been nice and we can get a great guard later---but there are only so many BIG guys around and we put so much into this recruitment. I still believe it will be a Hoosier Day tomorrow! -

News from the Battlefield---King Codius Zeller has been leading the expansion of our brand in North Carolina and his excellency achieved a major victory tonight when he scored 12 points and added 4 rebounds to lead our colony in Charlotte (the Hornets) to a 95-93 victory over the Knicks! Our all-powerful king scored the game winning field goal with 00.6 left on the clock. I am sure Queen Olivia will be cueing the video soon! Viva La Francais! Viva La IU! -

Royal Knight Old Fart---now that you have been knighted---your first mission---should you choose to accept it---is to take 3 of your best knights and head out west to Overland High School to make sure Davis commits to IU tomorrow. And--if I were you, I would not come back without a signed letter of intent, as Queen Olivia has been known to use that sword for more than knighting. God Speed! -

We also need someone to step up to be the head of the FCIA---The Francaisland Central Intelligence Agency. Your mission will be to infiltrate the schools/countries of our competitors, especially UK, to spy and gather intelligence information on their player/armies and look for any scandals or wrongdoings you can expose to Queen Olivia and King Zeller. We are especially interested in any unusual recruiting activities you spot and any jokes you can post about their school/country would be appreciated. Any takers? -

Old Fart--we would be honored to have you join our merry band of misfits---I mean VIP's. By the Power invested in me by Queen Olivia and King Zeller--I now appoint you Royal Knight of Bloomington. Of course, your title comes with imaginary land and imaginary basketball tickets. Queen Olivia will be calling you to the royal palace (and it is NICE) for your official knighting and your imaginary complimentary food and beverage basket. Welcome to IU/Francaisland--Royal Knight Old Fart. You will be in charge of a select group of knights to protect the queen--the Hoosier Knights of the Round Ball. They are kind of like the secret service and Navy Seals all rolled into one. We look forward to your service and any witty or not so witty banter that you choose to bring to this site! Rock On! -

Sound the alarm! Sentries have spotted troop movements from the West. It seems a small but pesky kingdom known as the Eastern Illinois Panthers is going to try and sneak attack us at The Hall. We must protect the Queen at all costs. Our scouts tell us that EIU has one of the youngest armies ever assembled. They have 9 new fighters this year, including 6 freshmen, 2 juco transfers, and a 4-year transfer. They are no match for our experienced long range 3 -point bombadiers or for our our secret weapon---MSB Priller! Little do they know they are marching to their slaughter. What's the battle plan-Alaska? We could send an advance force to meet them at the border and try to redirect them North toward West Lafayette/North Korea land. The smell alone from all the pig farms will kill them. Thoughts?
