Game Thread - Beat. Michigan.
rebelhoosier848891 replied to RBB89's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Big Game! I'm feeling like we finally break through today and then win our last 2 to finally get to that elusive bowl game! Let's go Hoosiers! -
Good thread but I have to admit that when I read the title "Hoosiers in Exile" ---I thought it was a thread about Bob Knight! Bring back Bobby!
-
Hey now! We resemble resent that remark!

This has to drive Alford crazy. It seems like UCLA just usually doesn't play very hard whether it's under Lavin, Howland, Alford, or whoever. I don't know if it's that laid back California attitude or all the smog or what--but they should NEVER lose to Monmouth at home. Too much Hollywood and not enough grit. On a positive note--Bryce Alford did have 22 points. Still want to see Steve be successful but these kind of losses hurt his rep. And T.J. Leaf---you stiffed us for this?????

Wow. Unbelievable.

In all seriousness---We like to have fun posting about the imaginary land of IU/Francaisland but the real France has been experiencing terrorist attacks today and my thoughts and prayers go out to them. It turns out it has been a bad Friday the 13th. After watching the news just now---I think it's a good time to shut this thread down for the night. -

As information minister---we would call a national holiday for you and the king if you were expecting the next great IU/Francaisland warrior knight! -

Thank you. If you wish to enter a royal decree about the royal lineage--I will leave that to you. It is none of my business. As far as I am concerned, what happens at the palace--stays at the palace! -

I just never thought it was appropriate to ask such personal questions of royalty. -

It is important that we have a great battle record this year. There is discontent in the villages because many of the peasants miss how good times were under Dictator Bobius Knightus. I suggest we find him wherever he may be exiled and bring him back to honor his achievements in The Hall with you and King Cody. We could erect a large statue of him outside The Hall or name something after him. What are your thoughts? -

Dearest Queen Olivia: News from our Southern Front: We are concerned about the health of our next opponent--Austin Peay. We sent an advance scout team to their stadium for one of their exhibition games and the crowd was chanting "Let's Go Peay"! We are not exactly sure but it could be a bladder or prostate issue. Will keep you updated. Rebel. -

Queen Olivia tells me we have had some recent visitors to the thread who may not be cultured or familiar with our language so I am going to start teaching you Francais by giving you the IU/Francaisland word of the day! Today's public service announcement is brought to you by the Eiffel Tower Associates---one of the world's tallest free-standing metal towers and the world's best place to enjoy a view --except during a lightning storm! :o Today's word of the day: OUI OUI What does it mean? Answer: No--it's not what some of you perverts think! Oui Oui means Yes Yes. Using it in a sentence. Question: Who do we play next--Austin Peay? Answer: Oui Oui Austin Peay! Stay tuned for your next Francais/IU word of the day! -

On it. I will dispatch Royal Fart with our three finest knights--The Three Musketeers! -
Yikes--I just saw that Illinois was down 68-48 to North Florida because NF has hit 14 three pointers and Illinois only has 1. 14 minutes to go last I checked.

I will summons Alaska to the situation room and get to work. Who do you want Royal Fart to recruit next. Some think De'Ron committed to us because his first name sounds French. We must show the other kingdoms that our recruiting success is not luck and build on our success. Should we go all in on Rawle Alkins or Brown or Thon? -

Well Done Crown Prince Crean and our IU/Francais Hoosiers! The Queen is quite pleased and will be holding a post-war rally at the Arc de Triumphe/Sample Gates with a procession to follow down Kirkwood. The win was so beautiful--if it were a painting we would have to hang it proudly with the Rembrandts and Michaelangelos in the Louvre/IU Art Museum. The small village of EIU will never mess with us again! Queen Olivia will address her royal subjects soon! Viva La Francais! Viva La IU! -

We were only 5-17 from 3 in second half. Can you imagine what we will be like on a hot shooting night. -

Good opening night performance. I loved our interior dominance. No doubt we can hit the three--but we seemed to do it better AFTER we got it inside first. Guards and Troy were solid as expected but I really like TB and Max inside. OG had some bursts and Collin had a tough shooting night. -
