Love MSB!  I saw some video of him doing some strange dance in Hawaii---he definitely marches to the beat of a different drummer and like the pied piper--he gets the masses to follow along.   I'm glad he's a Hoosier!  Apparently he's not just a fan favorite in Indiana---but in Hawaii too!   The legend of the Priller continues to grow! :biggrin:

  I feel your pain--I am down here on the river close to Evansville trying to enforce the borders but there are so many UK sell-outs it's sickening!    I just got back from eating in Owensboro, Kentucky and made sure to wear my Cream and Crimson while I was there and made sure to let the UK-ers know IU may have some say in how far they go this year----could be a great Elite 8 or Final 4 showdown in the making!   It's great having a top team this year again!  Go Hoosiers!

Final--Purdue 61--39 over Old Dominion.  We have trouble holding teams to 39 in a half!   Hammonds is back---18 points.

  So impressive. CuJo did this for a prep school powerhouse ---Huntington Prep---and not as part of a small high school somewhere.  I like our recruiting so far--Davis, CuJo, and Newkirk will contribute immediately and Gelon will work his way into a Z3/Roth type of role.  Go Hoosiers!   

Those of us stuck on the motherland---mainland--are jealous of Alaska!  He gets to dip his toes in the Pacific Ocean and we are stuck with the French Riviera/Lake Monroe. Don't get me wrong---it's not bad---but there's a lot less wave action! :biggrin:   Hang Ten---La Commandant Shake! And keep us updated!

  You mean their usual position?   I can't stand the Cats either Devil but I think they will get knocked off a few times throughout the year. As they showed last year and against Albany this year, they often play to the level of their competition.    Devil--Does Duke have any other tough games before we meet them in Cameron? I hope IU can knock them off before they start their usual improvement throughout the season.  

No sympathy for the Tar Heels from me---if the NCAA won't give them justice for the cheating scandal---I hope they get justice on the court!

  I agree. I am not the biggest Wilson fan--but everyone in the country knows IU football has improved and is exciting to watch.  We came in to this game today with best rusher and passer by some stats in the Big Ten.  Wilson's doing a lot of things right.  We just have that Chicago Cubs type--post Mallory curse that we need to shed. A lot of bad luck and key injuries the last few years or we would have more W's and bowl appearances.   Let's change that next week by routing the Boilers!  :ninja:  

Passing attack was better today by necessity.  If we could get Howard healthy and the passing and running attack clicking on the same day---we would be lethal.. In that scenario the defense just has to be solid and we will be fine.   Defense was better today after we dug that early hole.   Good job Hoosiers!  We needed that first Big Ten win under our belt.

We are the BEST 5-6 team in the country!   Take no prisoners against the Boilers---and let's go BOWLING!
