  You nailed it!  IU basketball is just different---special.  

If I were picking teams today----I would still pick Yogi over Valentine. Yogi's progress has been amazing.  He has a well-rounded game and is a great floor leader who will step up in crunch time and take and often hit the big shot or draw a foul when needed.  He has improved his assists and even improved his rebounding.  Sometimes I wish he were more selfish in looking for his shot--but he will need to do that in big games or against teams with tough defenses. Glad he's ours and I hope he gets the story-book ending to his career this year!  IMO one of if not the best point guards in the country when it's all said and done.

Correction:  Change of Plans---in response to an outcry from the kingdom---Royal Fart and the Three Musketeers are being dispatched to Vermont Academy to check on Bruce Brown and secure a commitment. Because of the Daniels uproar---there is fear funny business is afoot with UM. Royal Fart tried to talk Queen O into letting him go to Miami for investigation but she nixed it.  I was surprised given how LARGE our recruiting budget is at IU/Francaisland! :biggrin:

Sound the alarm!  Long range radar has picked up a squadron of jays ---blue in color--- flying in formation and heading our way from the west.  Satellite imagery shows they took off from Omaha, Nebraska.  ETA--estimated Time of Arrival is late Thursday. We had to zoom in on their heat signatures because basically all we could see from the air was a large college baseball stadium and lots of cornfields. Intel says their squadron leader is a true freshman--Khyri Thomas--a 6'3" bird averaging 18 points a game who was just named Big East freshman of the week.  Alaska, Royal Fart, and I have been summonsed to the palace to begin preparations. Awaiting further instructions from Queen O! Game On! Viva La Francais! Viva La IU!

  Yep---went from being "A" man to "THE" man.  This is a potential example that could be used against "the team's who name shall not be uttered" in recruiting.

So true. No more off-court issues. Hopefully, Elston will help with that as I heard him being interviewed and he said he's kind of like a guidance counselor and has been instructing them on how to conduct themselves properly as IU basketball players.

Hearing Brown is down to IU and Miami and deciding Wednesday!  I love our chances!

He literally hit a 3-pointer the first trip down the court after he came in----instant offense.   As good as he was offensively---the announcers were raving about his defensive pressure.   If lineup stays the same we could be looking at the Big Ten 's 6th man award winner for 2016!

Sounds like Diallo has not committed to VCU yet?  Anybody know if we have offered Diallo yet?
