Ripping Holt is so stupid. He barely had enough alcohol in his system for one glass of wine. Trying to get a player home who ran in front of his car. Not much he can do. He's a Freshman picking up people from a party. Seems like he was the one who was being responsible. Not sure where that vitriol is coming from.

why are you removing players to build a new average that helps your story? If we are playing that game then I will choose to remove our two worst shooters and now we have a team average that is in the 40s% and near tops in the conference! Stats are so fun when you get to artificially manipulate them!

Stan is not a jump shooter.We don't need Stan to be a jump shooter on this team.His strength is in his getting in the lane and mixing things up.Plenty of shooters to kick to.
Ive got a pretty good Idea that what JBJ,RoJo and Z bring to the table will be a lot more conductive to success than what the players they replaced gave us.Actually I'll go out on a limb here and say I know they will.
 Z has a confidence about him that is vital in tight situations..RoJo was rated as a high 4 star coming out and Blackman was a burger boy.Looks like a lot of people think those 2 are OK players.After watching them I have to say I concur.

I love 'em, but it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see that Hulls, Watford, Oladipo and Sheehey would not have gotten off to as good of freshman starts as "typical" freshman of their talent levels who were playing on "typical" indiana teams. Our dearth of talent certainly contributed to the scoring output of those guys and maybe that's why with 4 1000 point scorers, we didn't fare any better.
 
You don't get to count what happened after the season was over, you've got to count what was expected before the season started.
 
We beat 3 top 5 teams. That's a hell of an effort for any team.

Yes it is but I was referring to it not being true that he made his decision when he reached for the hat which would have actually been "last minute."

Crean is a great speaker but for some reason he just didn't talk very much tonight. Also, didn't dress in his normal IU stuff. The event did not seem as pumped up as usual but I got the feeling that he and the team are all business from now on. I think they're ready to prove something to everyone. Team looked pretty good in the scrimmage, which is the most important thing. Still had a great time and I'm even more ready for the season after seeing everything up close.
