Wofford beating UNC-G was a good result for us tonight. I think Wofford was a lock - so if they would have gotten beat it would have been one less spot. Going to be a roller coaster of a week!

The rumors surrounding Billy Donovan were incredible and I heard them from people who Are not gullible. I even had one guy tell me he saw Billy Donovan with his own eyes at Bloomington Country Club. it was later proven that Donovan was in OKC all day.

Mike. The story you mention here is inaccurate. Alford was not considered in any capacity. Obviously lots of rumors swirl in these situations but any rumor that includes IU contacting Alford is false.

Not sure why it is tough to people to understand - IU never considered Alford for the job. Glass made a call to Dane Fife our of respect for Dane and all other former players. Dane is the only former player that got a call. Alford’s teams play a very similar style to Crean’s. Did Glass reach out to some other people like Donovan to gauge interest? Yes he did. Alford was not one of those people. be happy that we got Archie.

Wasn’t Newman supposed to be the better shooter of the two? Seems like Armaan is making 4 or more threes every game. I was just watching some videos from his high school season and his jumper looks great. Is this a new development? Franklin also looks long and athletic. I think this kid is underrated.

With Quade Green and Quinerly (Villanova) transferring at the semester, does IU make a run at either of these guys? I still think Archie would love to add another guard for next year and these are both 5 stars. I’m never a fan of picking up guys who quit on their team in the middle of the season - but wanted to get people’s thoughts.
