Hey, I think you're exactly right. Many people have made Thomas Bryant into some sort of savior, but those expectations are unfair to him. He has the chance to be a very good player at IU. However, he is not going to come in and be Cody or Vonleh. On the defensive end, he can definitely help us but let's not forget that Perea has all the physical tools in the world and still doesn't have a clue how to play defense after 3 years in the program.

Losing Curt Miller set our women's program back five years. I think he would have turned us into a winner.

Of the sports I follow, too early to say on the baseball coach and women's soccer, can't complain about men's soccer, and men's golf does a good job given their facilities.   Definitely struggling: Men's Basketball Women's Basketball Football Volleyball Women's Golf (dont ask)

  You make a great comparison. However, the difference is that Duke's situation involved a student and not a coach. 

He had better be back! He was the #1 most efficient offensive player in the COUNTRY this year. Crean learned his lesson when he did not invite Matt Roth back. We have plenty of other players who contribute very little that can hit the road following this season.

I thought the schedule looked pretty easy, especially with Kaminsky, Jackson and possibly Dekker leaving.
